SMOK G-Priv Replacement Pods

Two pod types for one device. The SMOK G-Priv replacement pods come in RPM2 and LP2 variants, each accepting a completely different coil family and offering a different vaping style as a result. 2ml UK TPD capacity, slide-to-open top fill, press-fit coil installation, and a magnetic connection to the G-Priv battery unit.

The pods are built from food-grade PCTG with a toggle-style airflow switch that lets you adjust draw tightness without removing anything. Pack of three. Compatible with the SMOK G-Priv Pod Kit and SMOK G-Priv Pro Pod Kit only. Over 18s only.

Why vapers choose this:

  • Two pod types, two coil families, one device. The RPM2 pod opens up the entire RPM 2 coil range while the LP2 pod gives access to SMOK's LP2 mesh coils, so the G-Priv runs both without any adapter or modification

  • Sliding top fill stays sealed. The fill port slides open on the top of the pod. No pulling the pod out, no removing a silicone plug. Slide, fill, slide shut. Clean.

  • Adjustable airflow built into the pod itself. A toggle switch on the side controls how tight or loose the draw feels, which means you can shift between MTL and a more open RDL pull without changing anything else

  • Magnetic connection clicks the pod in securely. No threading, no wiggling. The magnets align and hold

  • Food-grade PCTG construction. Clear enough to check your liquid level at a glance, and durable enough to handle daily use without cracking

SMOK G-Priv Replacement Pods Features

RPM2 or LP2: Pick Your Platform

This is the decision that matters. The RPM2 pod accepts RPM 2 coils: a 0.16ohm meshed coil for warmer DTL draws at 20 to 50W, a 0.25ohm DC coil for mid-range DTL at 30 to 50W, and a 0.6ohm DC coil for tighter MTL vaping at 12 to 25W. The LP2 pod uses LP2 coils: a 0.23ohm meshed coil at 20 to 45W and a 0.4ohm coil rated at 25W. Different shapes, different coil fitments. You cannot put an RPM2 coil into an LP2 pod or vice versa. Choose based on which coil range suits the way you vape.

That Sliding Top Fill is Genuinely Useful

Most pod fills involve pulling the pod out, removing a stopper, trying not to spill liquid down the side, then reassembling everything. The G-Priv pods use a slide mechanism on the top of the pod that exposes a single fill port. You fill, you slide it shut.

The pod stays connected to the device the entire time if you want it to. Not a huge innovation on paper, but in daily use it makes a noticeable difference, especially when you are topping up in the middle of the day.

Airflow You Can Actually Adjust

The toggle-style air switch on each pod moves between open and closed positions, and it stays where you set it. Open for cloudier draws with lower-resistance coils, closed for a tight MTL pull with the 0.6ohm option. Most Refillable Pod Kits have fixed airflow or a tiny slider that drifts. This one holds its position. Worth noting.

PCTG That Holds Up

The pod body is food-grade PCTG, which is the same material used in most mid-to-high-end pod cartridges. It is impact-resistant, does not crack easily, and stays clear enough to see your liquid level through the walls. Some cheaper pod materials go cloudy after a week of use. PCTG does not.

Magnetic and Secure

The pod connects to the G-Priv battery unit via magnets. It clicks into place with a firm hold and does not rock or rattle in the housing. Removing it for coil changes is quick, and the magnets align the pod in the correct orientation every time, so there is no guesswork about which way round it sits.

SMOK G-Priv Replacement Pods Coil Options

Two separate coil platforms. Each pod type accepts only its own coil family. Not interchangeable.

RPM2 Pod coils:

The RPM 2 range covers the widest spread. The 0.16ohm meshed coil is the most popular, running best at around 40W with warm, flavour-dense DTL vapour.

The 0.25ohm DC coil sits in a similar DTL range at 30 to 50W but uses a dual-coil heating element for a slightly different texture. Then the 0.6ohm DC coil drops the wattage right down to 12 to 25W for a genuine MTL draw.

  • RPM 2 Meshed 0.16ohm: DTL, 20 to 50W (best 40W), warm clouds

  • RPM 2 DC 0.25ohm: DTL, 30 to 50W, dual-coil flavour

  • RPM 2 DC 0.6ohm: MTL, 12 to 25W, tight draw

LP2 Pod coils:

The LP2 range is smaller but covers the mid-wattage sweet spot well. The 0.23ohm meshed coil runs at 20 to 45W and delivers solid flavour with moderate vapour. The 0.4ohm coil is rated at 25W for a cooler, more restrained draw.

  • LP2 Meshed 0.23ohm: RDL/DTL, 20 to 45W, mesh flavour

  • LP2 0.4ohm: RDL, 25W, balanced draw

How to Set Up the SMOK G-Priv Replacement Pods

  1. Remove the old pod from the G-Priv device by pulling it upward. The magnetic connection releases cleanly.

  2. Take a fresh pod from the pack. Press a new coil into the base of the pod until it clicks into place. Make sure the coil sits flush; a half-seated coil causes leaking and poor contact.

  3. Drip three to four drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton visible through the coil's wicking ports. This pre-saturates the wick before the first fill.

  4. Slide open the top fill port. Tilt the E-Liquid Bottle into the port and fill to just below the max line. Slide the port shut firmly.

  5. Insert the pod into the device and wait a full six minutes before taking your first draw. The LP2 and RPM2 coils both use compressed cotton wicking that takes longer to saturate than thinner materials. Rushing this step chars the cotton instantly.

  6. Start at the lowest recommended wattage for your coil and increase gradually over the first few draws.

What's in the SMOK G-Priv Replacement Pods Box

Three empty Replacement Pods in your selected type (RPM2 or LP2). No coils included, no e-liquid, no device. You will need to purchase coils separately. Check which coil resistances suit your vaping style before ordering.

Built for the SMOK G-Priv Pod and G-Priv Pro Pod Kits

The G-Priv replacement pods fit two devices in the SMOK Range: the SMOK G-Priv Pod Kit and the SMOK G-Priv Pro Pod Kit. Both kits use the same pod housing and magnetic connection.

These pods do not fit the SMOK Nord series, the SMOK Novo range, the SMOK RPM range, or any other SMOK pod system. The RPM2 coils are shared across some other SMOK devices, but the pod cartridge itself is exclusive to the G-Priv and G-Priv Pro. If you own a different SMOK kit, check your coil compatibility first before assuming the pod will work.

About SMOK

SMOK has been manufacturing vape hardware since the early days of the industry, and the coil platform strategy is a big part of why they remain one of the most widely used brands in the UK. The RPM 2 coil range alone works across multiple SMOK devices, which means once you find a coil resistance you like, you can carry that preference across kits.

The LP2 platform is newer and currently limited to fewer devices, but SMOK has a track record of expanding coil compatibility as new hardware launches. The G-Priv sits in SMOK's mid-range pod kit lineup, positioned between the compact Novo series and the more advanced RPM devices with screens and wattage adjustment.

Stock Up and Save

Three pods per pack, and you will go through them at roughly one every two to three weeks depending on how sweet your liquid runs and how often you vape. Picking up a pack of pods alongside a box of your preferred coils and a few bottles of nic salt covers you for a solid month without needing to reorder halfway through.

Every order from Pirate Vapes ships same day before 4 pm in padded packaging designed to protect pod cartridges during transit. TPD-compliant stock, age-verified checkout, over 18s only. Free Pirate Post on orders over £40.

Conclusion

The SMOK G-Priv replacement pods give you two distinct vaping styles from one device: RPM2 for the wider coil range and more DTL flexibility, LP2 for a focused mesh experience in the mid-wattage range.

2ml TPD capacity, adjustable airflow, sliding top fill, and magnetic connection. The pods are well built, the coil installation is straightforward, and the airflow toggle actually stays where you put it.

FAQs

Which coils fit the G-Priv pods?

Depends on the pod type. The RPM2 pod takes RPM 2 coils (0.16ohm, 0.25ohm, 0.6ohm). The LP2 pod takes LP2 coils (0.23ohm, 0.4ohm). They are not interchangeable.

Do the SMOK G-Priv pods come with coils?

No. The pods ship empty with no coils inside. Purchase RPM2 or LP2 coils separately.

Can I use G-Priv pods in other SMOK devices?

No. The pod cartridge only fits the SMOK G-Priv Pod Kit and SMOK G-Priv Pro Pod Kit.

What is the e-liquid capacity of SMOK G-Priv pods?

2ml under UK TPD regulations.

How do I refill without removing the SMOK G-Priv pod?

Slide open the top fill port on the pod. The fill mechanism works while the pod stays seated in the device. Fill to just below the max line and slide the port shut.

How long do the SMOK G-Priv pods last?

Roughly two to three weeks with daily use. The pod itself lasts longer than the coil inside it. When flavour drops off, replace the coil first. Replace the full pod when the PCTG starts to cloud, or the airflow toggle loses resistance.
