Nicotine-free e-liquid is bottled vape juice with a stated strength of 0mg/ml. It still uses the familiar base of vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, and flavouring. Nicotine is simply left out of the finished mix.
That does not make every 0mg liquid the same. Far from it. One bottle may be a 50/50 blend for a modest MTL pod; another could be a thick 70/30 shortfill intended for sub-ohm vaping. The number on the label tells you the nicotine strength, not which coil to use.
You will also see different formats. Some bottles are ready to use as sold. Shortfills leave room at the top for an optional nicotine shot. If you want to stay at 0mg, leave that space alone and use the liquid as it is.

0mg and Nicotine-Containing E-Liquid: What Actually Changes?
The nicotine content changes. The basic job of the liquid does not. Both formats are made for refillable hardware, and both need the correct ratio for the coil.
A 0mg 50/50 liquid is still a 50/50 liquid. It belongs in the same sort of lower-powered setup as a nicotine-containing blend with that ratio. Likewise, a 0mg 70/30 shortfill remains thick and better suited to sub-ohm coils. Removing nicotine does not make it suitable for every vape.
Bottle size is where shoppers often get caught out. Under UK rules, nicotine-containing refill liquid sold to consumers is limited to 10ml per bottle and a maximum strength of 20mg/ml. Nicotine-free liquid can be supplied in larger bottles, which is why shortfills commonly come in 50ml and 100ml fill volumes.
A large bottle does not automatically mean 0mg, though. Check the printed strength. It should clearly state 0mg if that is what you want.
Which VG/PG Ratio Should You Buy?

70/30 VG/PG is noticeably thicker. It suits low-resistance coils with broad cotton ports, usually in DTL or sub-ohm hardware. More vapour, airier draw, higher liquid use.
Put thick juice in a pod that cannot keep up, and the cotton may dry out between puffs. That is when the flavour turns burnt. Go too thin in a large sub-ohm coil, and you may run into flooding or leaks. Resistance gives you a clue, but coil construction matters just as much.
When the manufacturer states a suitable ratio, use it. No guesswork needed.
Nicotine Free Flavours
There is no special flavour rule for 0mg. Fruit, ice, dessert, drinks, mint and tobacco-style blends can all be made without nicotine, so taste is still a personal call.
Fruit is the safest place to start if you are unsure. Apple and berry blends tend to stay clear and familiar; mango or tropical mixes are sweeter and rounder. Want something colder? Look for ice, frozen or chilled in the name.

What Can You Use 0mg E-Liquid In?
Any refillable pod or tank may use nicotine-free liquid if the VG/PG ratio is suitable. The device does not require nicotine to operate.
Compact Refillable Pod Kits usually work best with 50/50. A tight MTL draw, modest wattage, and small cotton inlets all point in that direction.

- Close the seal properly, then wipe the outside clean.
- Let a new pod or coil sit for five to ten minutes.

Replaceable sub-ohm coil? A few drops on the visible cotton openings can help with the first soak. Once cotton has scorched, though, more liquid will not fix the burnt taste. Fit a new coil.
How Much Should You Buy?
Not sure about the flavour? Buy the smaller bottle. That is usually cheaper than forcing yourself through 100ml of something you do not enjoy.
10ml works for trial runs, travel and lower-powered MTL use. 50ml is the middle ground: enough for regular use without tying you to one flavour for too long. 100ml suits a known favourite, particularly in a DTL kit that gets through liquid quickly.
There is no honest “days per bottle” figure. A high-wattage coil with open airflow uses far more liquid than a small pod. Puff length matters too. Your own setup and habits will give a better answer than a generic estimate.
