A quick tip that trips people up: a B Series head fits several devices, but a B head will not fit a Zeus tank, and a Z head will not fit an Aegis Boost pod. Are Geekvape Coils MTL or Sub-Ohm?

How Do You Fit a Geekvape Coil?
Most Geekvape heads are press-fit or plug-and-play, so there is no screwing in and out. The order of operations is what protects a new coil.
- Empty the pod or tank first, so nothing spills while you work.
- Pull the spent coil out of the pod base, or lift it from the tank's plug-and-play deck.
- Prime it: drip a few drops of e-liquid into the wicking slots on the sides of the fresh coil until the cotton looks wet.
- Press or drop the new head firmly into place until it seats fully. A loose seat is the usual cause of a leak.
- Refill, reassemble, and leave it to stand for five to ten minutes.
- Fire it low to begin with, then build up inside the wattage range printed on the coil.
That soak lets the mesh saturate before it takes any heat. Skip it, and the first pulls burn dry cotton, which no amount of priming afterwards will undo.
How Long Do Geekvape Coils Last, and Why Do They Taste Burnt?
Expect anywhere from a few days to two or three weeks, shaped by how hard you vape and what you feed the coil. Sweet, dark and high-VG liquids caramelise on the mesh and shorten its life, while cleaner 50/50 blends stretch it.
