Crystal Bar Vapes

For a good while, the Crystal Bar was the disposable- that translucent, jewel-look bar you saw on every counter. It was made by SKE, and when single-use vapes left UK sale, SKE did not retire the name. It grew it.

Crystal Bar vapes are now a whole family of rechargeable kits, running from a pocket 600-puff pod device that looks almost identical to the old bar, right up to big puff kits rated for tens of thousands of puffs.

The catch is the naming, which can read like alphabet soup. This page sorts the range by size and explains which Crystal is which, so you can land on the one that fits how you vape.

This is an over-18s range. Age is confirmed at checkout before we send anything out, and we do not sell to anyone underage.

What is Crystal Bar?

What is Crystal Bar?

Crystal Bar is a product line, not a device on its own. SKE builds it, and the look- that clear faceted shell and its punchy nic salt flavours- is what people recognise. Everything in the current range shares that DNA in a form the law now allows: a battery you recharge over USB-C and a pod you swap when it is spent.

Where it gets confusing is the model names. Pro 600, Plus, 2400 4-in-1, CL6000, SKE Bar, SKE Bar 15K and 30K Pro Max all sit under the Crystal or SKE banner, and they are not interchangeable.

The simplest way to read the range is by how long a device lasts before you top up the pod, which is exactly how the next section is laid out.

Crystal Bar vapes: pod kits by size

Think of the range as a ladder. At the bottom is a compact kit that mirrors the original bar almost exactly. As you climb, the kits hold more liquid, sometimes across a pod and a separate refill, and stretch further between changes.

#table
Crystal kit: Approx puffs: Format and notes
Crystal Pro 600 / SKE Bar: Up to 600 per pod: Compact kit, single 2ml prefilled pod, closest to the old bar
Crystal 2400 4-in-1: Up to 2,400: Four 2ml pods in a revolving device, switch between flavours
Crystal CL6000: Up to 6,000: 2ml pod fed by a 10ml refill, a proper big puff kit
SKE Bar 15K: Up to 15,000: 2ml plus 10ml system, display and a clear tank
Crystal 30K Pro Max: Up to 30,000: Top of the range for the longest run between restocks

Exact figures and which models are live will vary, so use the ladder as a map and check each product page for the version in front of you. Puff numbers are always an estimate that depends on how you draw, not a guarantee.

The compact kits sit under prefilled pod kits, while the longer-lasting Crystals have a natural home on the 15,000 puff vapes and 30,000 puff vapes pages.

Matching pods to your Crystal Bar Vape Kit

The single biggest ordering mistake with this range is buying a pod that does not fit the device. Because the names overlap, it pays to slow down for a second. Each kit has its own pod or refill, and they do not cross over.

Here is a reliable way to get it right first time:

  1. Read the exact model off your device, for example Crystal Pro 600, CL6000 or SKE Bar 15K.
  2. Find the pod or refill pack that names the same model.
  3. Pick your flavour and strength within that matching pack.
  4. Order a spare or two so a dead pod never leaves you stuck.

One rule holds across every Crystal kit: the pods arrive sealed and prefilled, and they are meant to be replaced rather than refilled by hand.

Topping them up yourself usually floods the coil and ruins the taste. When one runs dry, fit a fresh one and keep spare replacement pods on hand for whichever kit you own.

Crystal Bar flavours and 10ml e-liquid

Flavour is the whole reason the Crystal name stuck. The line leans into sweet, sharp, ice-cooled fruit blends, sours, cola and berry mixes, the same profiles that carried over from the original bars. If you already have a favourite from the disposable days, there is a strong chance it still exists as a pod.

There is a second route worth knowing about. The most popular Crystal flavours are also bottled as 10ml nic salt e-liquid, which lets you run them in an open refillable pod device instead of a Crystal kit.

That often works out cheaper per ml if you do not mind refilling. Some pods and bottles also come in a nicotine-free option for anyone stepping their strength down. Browse the wider nic salts range to see which Crystal profiles are stocked in bottled form.

How to choose your Crystal Bar

If the ladder still leaves you undecided, match the kit to your habit:

  • You just want the old bar in a legal, rechargeable shape. The Pro 600 or SKE Bar is the closest thing to a like-for-like swap.
  • You get bored of one flavour quickly. The 2400 4-in-1 keeps four pods loaded and lets you rotate.
  • You vape steadily through the day and hate frequent pod changes. The CL6000 or SKE Bar 15K covers more ground per pod.
  • You are a heavy, all-day vaper. The 30K Pro Max is built to go the longest before you restock.

None of these is better in the abstract. It comes down to how much you get through and how often you want to think about your device.

Why the Crystal Bar you knew changed

The reason the classic disposable Crystal Bar disappeared is straightforward. On 1 June 2025, the UK banned the sale of all single-use disposable vapes, with or without nicotine, so the old throwaway bars had to go.

To stay on the market, a device now needs a rechargeable battery, a refillable or replaceable container for the liquid, and a replaceable coil where one is used. SKE rebuilt the Crystal line to meet exactly that.

The measurement limits shape the kits too. Nicotine pods and tanks cannot exceed 2ml, refill bottles are capped at 10ml, and strength is limited to 20mg per ml.

That is why a big puff Crystal splits its liquid between a small pod and a larger refill: the pod stays legal while the headline puff count climbs. Nicotine e-liquids are also notified to the MHRA before they can be sold, though 0mg options fall outside that step.

Two honest points to close on: passing the regulations does not make any vape safe, and nicotine is addictive. If you have never vaped, these are not for you, and our vaping guides are a more sensible first read than any listing here.

Related collections

If you would rather look wider than one line, a couple of routes make sense. The full SKE vapes collection covers the maker's other kits and pods beyond the Crystal badge, and Elf Bar vapes are a close rival that made the same jump from disposable to rechargeable. To trim the cost of stocking up, the multi-buy vapes page gathers the current pod and bottle deals.

Why buy Crystal Bar from Pirate Vapes

Every nicotine product on this page is MHRA-notified, your age is checked at the till before dispatch, and buying pods or bottles in bulk unlocks multi-buy pricing.

Stuck between the Pro 600 and a big puff kit? The crew at Pirate Vapes will steer you to the size that actually suits you, not the dearest one on the shelf.

FAQs

Are Crystal Bar vapes still legal in the UK?

The original single-use Crystal Bar disposables are not, since the June 2025 ban removed all throwaway vapes from sale. The current Crystal Bar vapes are different: they are rechargeable kits with replaceable pods, which meet the reusable-device rules, so they are legal to buy and use.

Who makes Crystal Bar and is it the same as SKE?

Crystal Bar is SKE's product line, so the two names go together. SKE is the manufacturer, and Crystal is the family of devices and flavours it is best known for. You will see both names used across the range.

What is the difference between the Pro 600, CL6000 and SKE Bar 15K?

Mainly how long they last. The Pro 600 is a compact kit rated around 600 puffs per pod and closest to the original bar. The CL6000 is a bigger step up, pairing a small pod with a refill for roughly ten times the run. The SKE Bar 15K goes further again with a 2ml and 10ml system and a see-through tank. Higher numbers mean fewer pod changes, not a different flavour.

Can I refill Crystal Bar pods myself?

No. They come prefilled and sealed, and they are designed to be swapped out, not manually topped up. Adding your own liquid tends to cause leaks and a burnt taste. Replace the pod once it is empty, and you are back to full flavour.

What nicotine strength are Crystal Bar pods?

Prefilled Crystal pods are generally 20mg nic salt, which is the UK legal maximum. Some kits and the bottled flavours offer lower or nicotine-free options, so check the strength on the specific product before you buy.

Can I use Crystal Bar flavours in a different pod kit?

The bottled 10ml Crystal nic salts will run in most open refillable pod systems. The prefilled Crystal pods, on the other hand, only fit their own matching SKE devices and cannot be moved into another brand's kit.
