Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of piratevapes.co.uk and any order you place with us. The site is operated by Treat Verse Ltd (company number 16935581, registered at 10 Parkfield Avenue, Manchester, England, M14 4HL), trading as Pirate Vapes. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and age restriction

Our products are restricted by law to adults aged 18 and over. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We operate a Challenge 25 policy and verify age at checkout. We may also require proof of age on delivery. We will refuse or cancel any order where we are not satisfied that the customer is 18 or over. It is a criminal offence to buy, or attempt to buy, age-restricted products on behalf of someone under 18. Age verification takes place after you place your order, and we cannot dispatch until it is complete. Treat Verse Ltd is not responsible for any delay caused by the verification process.

2. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Products and availability

We take care to describe and picture products accurately. Minor variations in appearance, packaging, or flavour profile may occur, and manufacturers may change specifications. Where a product specification is critical to you, please contact us to confirm before ordering. Stock availability may vary, and we may withdraw a product at any time. Our products are sold for personal use only, unless we have agreed a wholesale or trade arrangement with you in writing.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. We try to ensure all prices are correct, but if we discover a pricing error after you order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel. Prices may change to reflect applicable taxes and duties, including the Vaping Products Duty taking effect on 1 October 2026.

5. Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. We will send an acknowledgement when you place an order, but this does not mean we have accepted it. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods, and is subject to successful payment and age verification. We may decline or cancel an order, including where stock is unavailable, where we suspect fraud, where age cannot be verified, or where there has been an error.

6. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including major debit and credit cards, Klarna, and Clearpay. Payment must be received and authorised before goods are dispatched. Where you use a buy-now-pay-later provider, their separate terms also apply.

7. Promotions, offers, and Crew Rewards

From time to time we run promotions, discount codes, and offers. Unless stated otherwise, an offer or discount code is valid for one use per customer, cannot be combined with other offers, and may be limited in time, quantity, or per household. Offers are valid for 28 days from issue and limited to a maximum of two redemptions per household, unless otherwise stated. We may amend, suspend, or withdraw any offer at any time.

Crew Rewards is our loyalty programme. Points are earned on eligible purchases, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable. We may change or end the programme, and we may withdraw points earned in error or where we reasonably believe the programme has been misused.

8. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Delivery Information and Shipping Policy pages, which form part of these terms. Delivery is free on orders over £40. Orders placed before 4 pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once Treat Verse Ltd receives payment in full.

9. Cancellation, returns, and refunds

Your right to cancel and return items is set out in our Return Policy, which forms part of these terms and reflects your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For hygiene reasons, e-liquids, pods, and mouthpieces cannot be returned for a change of mind once their seal is broken, unless faulty.

10. Faulty goods and warranty

If goods are faulty, you are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our Product Warranty page, which forms part of these terms.

11. Compliance and lawful use

Every nicotine-containing product we sell is on the MHRA Notified Products List and complies with UK TPD/TRPR rules. In line with UK law, refillable pods and tanks are limited to 2ml, nicotine-containing e-liquid bottles to 10ml, and nicotine strength to 20mg/ml. We do not sell single-use disposable vapes, which were banned in the UK on 1 June 2025. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance. Our products are not for sale to, or use by, anyone under 18, and must not be supplied to anyone under 18. You agree to use our products responsibly and in line with the manufacturer's instructions.

12. Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content, or using the site for any unlawful purpose. Treat Verse Ltd may suspend or restrict access where these terms are breached.

13. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the Pirate Vapes name, logo, text, graphics, and design, is owned by Treat Verse Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission.

14. Privacy and data protection

We handle your personal data in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR. We use your data only for the purposes we set out, keep it secure, and do not share it except as needed to fulfil your order or as required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

15. Limitation of liability

Treat Verse Ltd does not exclude or limit its liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Treat Verse Ltd is not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, for losses arising from your failure to use products in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, severe weather, or supply issues. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

16. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites. Treat Verse Ltd is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it. The current version is always available on this page.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
