Spare Parts

A reusable vape only keeps going if you can replace the bits that wear out. This vape spare parts collection pulls those replaceable components into one place: coils, pods, tank glass, drip tips, seals, batteries and charging gear for the kits and mods you already own.

Rather than hunting across the site part by part, start here, match the replacement to your device by brand and model, and get back to vaping. Everything is genuine UK-market stock, so a part fits and performs the way the original did.

Sold to over-18s only, with age verified at checkout. Nicotine is addictive, and any prefilled pods in this range are intended for existing adult vapers.

What Counts as a Vape Spare Part?

What Counts as a Vape Spare Part?

A spare part is any component you can swap out to keep a reusable device running. UK rules define a legal reusable vape as one with a rechargeable battery, a refillable or replaceable liquid container, and a replaceable coil where a coil is used. The spare parts here are exactly those replaceable pieces.

In practice, that covers two groups. There are consumables that wear out with normal use, like coils and prefilled pods, and there are hardware parts that only need replacing when damaged or lost, like tank glass, drip tips, seals and O-rings.

Power components sit alongside them: external batteries, chargers and cables for devices that use them. If any of the terms below are unfamiliar, the vaping glossary explains them without the jargon.

Which Parts Wear Out, and Where Do You Find Them?

Some parts are designed to be replaced often. Others last until something goes wrong. Knowing which is which saves you money and stops a small fault from writing off a whole kit.

#table
Part: Why it wears out: Rough lifespan
Coils: Cotton chars and mesh degrades with use: Around 1 to 2 weeks with daily use
Pods: The coil inside degrades, or the shell cracks: Varies by type and habit
Tank glass: Cracks, clouds or takes a knock: Until damaged
Drip tips and seals: Perish, wear or get lost: Until damaged or lost
Batteries: Hold less charge over hundreds of cycles: Months to a couple of years

Coils are the fastest-moving item, and a burnt taste is usually the sign one is spent. Keep a few ahead in our vape coils range so you are never caught out.

Pods come in two forms, and both live in the replacement pods section. A worn or missing mouthpiece is a quick fix too, covered by our drip tips and mouthpieces collection.

Coil, Pod or Cartridge: What's the Difference?

These three get mixed up constantly, and buying the wrong one is a common mistake. They are not the same part.

A coil is the heating element. In a refillable tank or open pod, it screws or clicks in on its own and gets replaced when the flavour drops off.

A pod is the container that holds the e-liquid. An open pod is refillable and takes its own coil, while a prefilled pod arrives sealed with liquid inside.

A cartridge and a prefilled pod are effectively the same idea: a sealed unit you click on and replace when empty. Because they contain nicotine e-liquid, they follow the standard UK limits of up to 2ml of liquid and up to 20mg of nicotine, and they must be notified to the MHRA before sale.

How Do You Find the Right Spare Part for Your Device?

Compatibility is where most returns come from, so it pays to get this right first time. Parts are rarely universal, and close is not the same as correct.

  1. Note the exact device. Get the full name, including the model and any version number, not just the brand.
  2. Read the old part. Coils often have the resistance and series printed on the side. Pods and glass usually carry a model reference.
  3. Match the variant. If your device uses more than one resistance or pod type, pick the one you actually run.
  4. Check the fitting. Confirm the size and connection before buying, especially for glass and drip tips.

When you are unsure, match like for like against the part you are replacing. That single step avoids almost every compatibility headache.

Do You Need Spare Glass, Seals or O-Rings?

Leaks and cloudy tanks nearly always come back to worn hardware, not the coil. A cracked tube or a perished O-ring lets air and liquid go where they should not.

Cracks and hazing on the tube are the usual culprits, and a fresh tube restores a clear view of your liquid level. Browse our replacement tank glass for a like-for-like tube.

Seals and O-rings are cheap and easy to overlook. If a tank starts weeping around the base or the airflow after a while, a tired seal is often the reason, so it is worth keeping the spares that came in the box.

What About Batteries, Chargers and Cables?

Devices with a built-in battery are charged over USB, so a good cable and a working port are all you need. Devices that take external cells are a different job, and getting it right matters.

Only use the battery type your device is rated for, and buy from genuine stock. Our vape batteries section covers the common external cells.

If you run a dual-battery mod, keep your cells matched: bought together, charged together, and used as a pair rather than mixing an old cell with a new one. A tidy set of chargers and cables keeps everything topped up on the right port and current.

How Do You Fit a Replacement Part?

Most swaps are quick and need no tools. The two rules that matter are priming coils and not overtightening threads.

  1. Power down and empty the tank or pod before you start, so nothing spills.
  2. Fit the new part. Screw or click the coil in finger-tight, seat a fresh pod until it locks, or slide a new tube and seals into place.
  3. Prime any new coil. Put a couple of drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton, then fill and leave it to soak for several minutes so the wick saturates fully.
  4. Start gently. Take a few soft draws at a sensible wattage. Firing a dry coil is what causes that harsh, burnt first hit.

Are Vape Spare Parts Legal in the UK?

Yes, and they are central to how the current market works. Since single-use disposables came off sale on 1 June 2025, the legal route is a reusable device you keep and maintain, which only functions because its parts can be replaced.

Most spare parts carry no nicotine at all. Coils, glass, drip tips, seals, batteries, chargers and empty refillable pods are hardware, so the 2ml, 10ml and 20mg limits simply do not apply to them.

Prefilled replacement pods are the exception, because they hold nicotine e-liquid. Those stay inside the usual caps of 2ml per pod and 20mg strength, are notified to the MHRA, and are sold to adults only. Compliant is not the same as safe, and every part here is for over-18 use.

FAQs

What are vape spare parts?

They are the replaceable components that keep a reusable vape working: coils, pods, tank glass, drip tips, seals, batteries, chargers and cables. Some, like coils and prefilled pods, wear out with use. Others only need swapping when they break or go missing.

How do I know which spare part fits my device?

Match it to the exact model, not just the brand. Coils usually print their resistance and series on the side, and pods and glass carry a model reference. If in doubt, replace like for like against the worn part you are taking out.

How often do I need to replace a coil?

Most vapers change a coil every one to two weeks with daily use, though sweeter and darker liquids shorten that as residue builds up. A sudden burnt or muted taste is the clearest sign the coil is done, even if it has not been long.

What's the difference between a replacement pod and a coil?

A pod is the container that holds the liquid. A coil is the heating element. Open, refillable pods take a separate coil that you replace, while prefilled pods and cartridges are sealed units with the coil built in, swapped whole when empty.

Are batteries and chargers included on this page?

Yes. External cells, chargers and charging cables all count as spare parts for the devices that use them. Only use the battery your device is rated for, and if you run a dual-cell mod, keep the pair matched rather than mixing old and new cells.

Do prefilled replacement pods contain nicotine?

They can. Prefilled pods hold e-liquid, which is often nicotine at up to 20mg in up to 2ml, though nicotine-free options exist too. Empty refillable pods, coils, glass and drip tips contain no nicotine at all.
