GeekVape B100 (Aegis Boost Pro) Pod Vape Kit

Hundred watts from a pod kit that is IP68-rated for water, dust, and shock. That is the GeekVape B100, also known as the Aegis Boost Pro. It takes a single 18650 battery (an adaptor is included if you have a 21700 lying around), runs through GeekVape's AS-Chip 3.0, and holds a 2ml refillable pod on top with leakproof top airflow.

Two P Series mesh coils in the box, both DTL. The body is zinc alloy with a leather grip pad and the same rugged Aegis construction GeekVape has been building for years. If you work outdoors or you are rough on your kit, this is the one built to take it. Pirate Vapes ships it tracked with age-verified UK delivery.

Why do vapers choose this:

  • IP68 tri-proof: waterproof, dustproof, shockproof. Built for people who drop things, work outdoors, or just want hardware that can take a beating.

  • 100W from a single-cell pod mod. Enough to run both included coils at their best without a second battery weighing you down.

  • AS-Chip 3.0 with SMART mode that reads the coil and sets the wattage. You do not have to guess.

  • Replaceable 18650 (or 21700) battery. When it dies, swap it. No waiting for a charge.

  • P Series coils with a claimed double lifespan over earlier GeekVape Coils. Two in the box, DTL.

  • Physical A-Lock switch. Stops the mod from firing in your pocket. Not a software lock, an actual switch.

GeekVape B100 (Aegis Boost Pro) Features

IP68 Tri-Proof Build

This is what the Aegis line is known for, and the B100 carries it over from the bigger mods. IP68-rated means it can handle submersion in water, it keeps dust out, and the rubberised body and zinc alloy frame absorb drops and knocks. If you work on a building site, ride a bike, or have a habit of knocking your vape off the table, this is the pod mod that shrugs it off. The screen side is the vulnerable spot, but the weight of the device naturally falls toward the battery side, so most drops land body-first.

AS-Chip 3.0 and SMART Mode

SMART mode reads the coil you fit and sets the wattage automatically. It also caps the power so you cannot accidentally burn the coil out on the first draw. That alone makes it worth using for the first coil if you are not sure where to start. BOOST mode goes the other way and pushes the output to the maximum for the biggest clouds the coil can handle. Beyond that, you have full TC modes for temperature control across different wire types, Bypass mode that delivers raw battery voltage, and VPC (Variable Power Curve) if you want to shape the ramp-up. Most people will stick with SMART or BOOST and never touch the rest, but it is there.

P Series Coils

Two coils ship with the kit. The 0.2Ω runs at 60 to 70W and is the cloud coil, warm and dense with a wide-open DTL draw. The 0.4Ω sits at 50 to 60W and leans more toward flavour, still DTL but a touch cooler and less thirsty on e-liquid. GeekVape claims the P Series coils last roughly twice as long as their earlier Boost coils. That tracks with what reviewers have found. The coils press-fit into the pod base, and a coil tool is included to lever the old one out without getting your fingers sticky.

The Pod and Airflow

The pod clips onto the mod rather than sitting on magnets. It feels fiddly the first time, but once you get the knack, it clips in solidly and does not rattle. Capacity is 2ml under UK TPD rules. It fills from the top, which is more convenient than the earlier Boost pods. The airflow is a leakproof top-airflow design with a dual adjustment system: one slot at the front and an additional ring around the diameter for fine-tuning. You can go from a medium restricted DTL to a properly wide-open lung draw. The range surprised reviewers who expected less from a pod system.

Replaceable Battery and A-Lock

The battery sits behind a screw-cap at the bottom with a flip tab. It is tight to unscrew because of the waterproofing, but that is the trade-off for IP68. An 18650 is the standard fit; if you have a 21700 you can use that instead for a longer battery life, since the adaptor is included. The A-Lock is a physical switch on the side that prevents the fire button from being pressed accidentally. It is not a software lock you have to remember to activate. Flip it, the mod is locked. Flip it back; you are vaping. Simple and reliable.

Ergonomics and Build

The B100 feels like a proper mod in the hand, not a flimsy pod. It is chunky. The leather grip pad sits naturally against your palm, and your index finger falls right over the fire button without reaching for it. The button itself has firm resistance, so it is unlikely to pocket-fire even without the A-Lock. The screen is bright, sits at 0.96 inches, and shows wattage, resistance, battery level, and puff count. You can adjust the screen brightness or turn it off completely to save battery.

What E-Liquid to Use

Both coils are DTL and sub-ohm. They want High-VG Shortfills, 70/30 or thicker. Fruits, desserts, menthols, whatever flavour you fancy, as long as the VG is high enough. Do not run nic salts or thin 50/50 Liquids through the P Series coils. They will flood the pod. If you want to vape nic salts, you need a different kit. Browse our E-liquid Range at Pirate Vapes for shortfills that pair well with DTL pod mods.

How to Set Up the GeekVape B100 (Aegis Boost Pro)

  1. Unscrew the bottom cap and fit an 18650 battery (or 21700) with the correct polarity. Screw the cap back tightly for the waterproof seal.

  2. Press-fit one of the P Series coils into the base of the pod. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the mesh and cotton. That is priming.

  3. Open the top fill port, fill with up to 2ml of high-VG e-liquid, and close it.

  4. Clip the pod onto the mod. Let it stand for five to ten minutes so the coil soaks.

  5. Press the fire button five times to turn on. SMART mode will read the coil and set the wattage. Adjust the airflow. Vape.

  6. Prime the coil and soak it properly. Skip that step, and you burn the cotton on the first draw.

About GeekVape

GeekVape built its reputation on the Aegis line, and the tri-proof IP68 rating has been the selling point since the original Aegis Legend. The B100 carries that same rugged construction into the pod mod format. GeekVape's coils have a good track record for longevity, and the P Series is the latest iteration.

The AS-Chip platform has been through enough versions that the performance is stable and the safety protections are well tested. For people who want a pod mod that can handle being dropped, rained on, or shoved into a dusty pocket, it is one of the few on the market that genuinely backs up the durability claims.

Stock Up and Save

The kit ships with two coils. After those are done, you are buying P Series replacements. Grab a five-pack of coils, a spare 18650, and a shortfill alongside the kit, and you are covered for the first month. Everything from Pirate Vapes goes out in plain packaging, tracked to your door, age-verified checkout, and 18+ delivery. Crew Rewards points build up with every order. If you would rather coils arrive automatically, The Crow's Nest at Pirate Vapes sends them on repeat with a saving.

Conclusion

The GeekVape B100 is a 100W pod mod with IP68 tri-proof protection, an AS-Chip 3.0, replaceable 18650 (or 21700) battery, P Series mesh coils, top-airflow leakproof pod, physical A-Lock, and a build quality that feels more like a full mod than a pod kit.

It is built for DTL vapers who want clouds and flavour from high-VG shortfills in a device that can handle rough treatment. Two coils in the box, five modes, a 0.96-inch curved screen, and enough power to run the coils at their best. No battery included. Grab one from Pirate Vapes with tracked, age-verified UK delivery.

FAQs

Does it come with a battery?

No. The B100 takes a single 18650 battery, sold separately. A 21700 adaptor is included in the box if you want to run a larger cell for longer battery life.

Is it really waterproof?

IP68 rated. That means it can handle submersion in water and keep dust out. The screw-cap battery door seals tightly for waterproofing. It will not survive being thrown in a lake, but rain, splashes, and damp pockets are not a problem.

What coils does it use?

GeekVape P Series coils. The kit ships with a 0.2Ω (60–70W) and a 0.4Ω (50–60W). Both are mesh; both are DTL. Replacement packs are available in our GeekVape range at Pirate Vapes.

What e-liquid should I use?

High-VG shortfills. 70/30 or thicker. Do not use nic salts or thin 50/50 liquids with the P Series coils. They will flood.

Which coil is better for flavour?

The 0.4Ω at around 55W. It is slightly cooler and less thirsty on e-liquid than the 0.2Ω, and reviewers have consistently rated the flavour higher on it. The 0.2Ω is better if you want maximum clouds.

What does A-Lock do?

It is a physical switch on the side of the mod that locks the fire button. Stops the device from firing accidentally in your pocket or bag. Not a software lock. An actual switch you flip.

How does the pod attach?

It clips on, not magnetically. Feels fiddly the first couple of times, but once you get the knack, it holds firmly. Pull to unclip, press to clip back in.

What modes does it have?

SMART (auto-wattage), BOOST (max output), TC (temperature control 200–600°F), Bypass, and VPC (Variable Power Curve). Most people stick with SMART mode.

How heavy is it?

About 142.6g without battery. With an 18650 fitted, expect around 190g. It is chunky but well balanced.

Does Pirate Vapes stock the replacement coils?

Yes. GeekVape P Series coils are in our GeekVape range at Pirate Vapes.
