The pre-installed S1 coil runs a single mesh strip at 0.15ohm. At 40W to 70W, it produces thick, warm vapour with strong flavour clarity.

How to Set Up the SMOK Mag V8 Kit

1. Insert a battery. Press the magazine release button on the mod (similar to a pistol magazine release). Slide the battery door open. Insert a 21700, 20700, or 18650 (with adapter) battery, positive end first. Close the door until it clicks.

2. Install a coil into the TFV-Mini V2 tank. Unscrew the tank base from the glass and body. Remove the old coil by pulling it out. Press a fresh Baby V2 coil into the base until it seats firmly. Screw the base back onto the tank.

3. Prime the coil. Apply four to five drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton visible through each wicking port on the coil. This saturates the cotton before the first fire and prevents a dry burn.

4. Fill the tank. Slide the top cap open to expose the fill ports. Fill with high-VG e-liquid (70/30 or 80/20 recommended) to just below the max line. Slide the cap closed until it locks.

5. Let the coil soak for a full five minutes. The Baby V2 mesh coils use dense cotton that needs time to absorb liquid from the inside out. Firing before the cotton is fully saturated burns the mesh permanently. Five minutes. No shortcuts.

6. Power on the mod with five clicks of the fire button. Set the wattage using the OLED display. Start at 40W and increase gradually. The S1 mesh coil runs well between 40W and 70W. The S2 quad coil performs best at similar wattages.
