Do Voopoo PnP Coils Fit Across the Range?
Largely, yes, and that is the practical reason people stick with Voopoo. The PnP coil family is shared across a long list of Voopoo tanks and pod mods, so the coils you already own often carry over to your next device.
The current sub-ohm mods, like the Drag 5, run PnP X coils in the Uforce-X tank. Older and smaller Voopoo devices use earlier PnP versions.
One honest note: PnP has more than one generation, so PnP X and standard PnP are not always identical fits. Check the coil version against your specific tank before ordering from Voopoo PnP coils.

What Batteries Do Voopoo Mods Use?
It varies by model, so read the listing before buying cells. The Drag 5, Argus GT and Vmate all take two 18650 batteries. Some single-cell Voopoo mods accept an 18650 or a 21700.
The Drag Mini is the outlier, with a built-in battery charged over USB-C, so there are no loose cells to manage.
For the removable-battery models, batteries are sold separately. Use a matched pair from a reputable brand, keep the wraps undamaged, and carry spares in a case rather than loose. Stock cells from vape batteries and keep a backup lead from charging cables.
How Do You Get a Voopoo Sub-Ohm Mod Running?
There is not much to it, and Smart mode handles the wattage if you would rather not. Priming the coil is the one step worth doing every time.
- Wet the new coil by dripping e-liquid onto its cotton ports, then slot it into the tank.
- Fill the tank through its top-fill opening and close it up.
- Fit charged batteries the right way round, or charge a built-in mod fully first.
- Let Smart mode pick a wattage, or set your own inside the coil's rated band.
- Leave the tank to soak for around ten minutes.
- Take a few light draws to begin, then vape as usual.
