1.65-Inch HD Touchscreen

Not a status LED. Not a tiny OLED strip. A proper 1.65-inch colour touchscreen that shows wattage, battery level, coil resistance, puff count, and active mode in real time. Swipe down to access the settings menu. Swipe up and down within menus to navigate. It locks automatically after a few seconds of inactivity and unlocks with a swipe.

How to Set Up the SMOK Nord 6 Vape Kit

1. Charge first. Plug the included USB-C cable into the base. The touchscreen shows charging progress and estimated time remaining. About two hours from flat. You can vape while it charges if you need to.

2. Pick your pod. The 0.4-ohm dual meshed pod (side-fill) is for RDTL vaping. The empty RPM 4 pod with the 0.15-ohm coil (top-fill) is for DTL. Start with whichever suits your style.

3. Fill. For the 0.4-ohm pod, find the side fill port and peel back the silicone plug. For the RPM 4 pod, pull the mouthpiece off to access the top fill port. Fill to the line with your chosen e-liquid. High VG (70/30 or above) works best with both coils.

4. Prime. Leave the filled pod sitting for ten minutes. The mesh coil needs time to soak. Skipping this step burns the cotton on the first draw, and once burnt coil tastes burnt, there is no fixing it.

5. Insert. Push the pod into the top of the device. The magnets click it into place.

6. Power on. Press the fire button five times quickly. The SMOK logo appears, then the main screen loads.

7. Vape. Hold down the fire button on the front face as you inhale to vape. 

8. Adjust airflow. Slide the side airflow slider to taste. Tighter for more flavour concentration, looser for bigger clouds.

FAQs

Can I use it for MTL vaping? 

Not really its strength. With the airflow closed right down and the 0.4-ohm coil at low wattage, you can approximate a restricted draw, but this device is designed for RDTL and DTL. If you want a dedicated MTL kit, look at something like the SMOK Novo range instead.

How long does the battery last? 

At 15-25W on the 0.4-ohm pod, expect a full day and a half of moderate use. At 40W or above on the 0.15-ohm coil, a solid full day. Heavy chain vaping at max wattage will drain it faster, but even then it outperforms most pod kits.

What is the difference between the two included pods? 

The 0.4-ohm pod has a built-in dual meshed coil and fills from the side. When the coil burns out, you replace the whole pod. The empty RPM 4 pod has a removable 0.15-ohm coil and fills from the top. When that coil burns out, you just swap the coil and keep the pod.

Does the touchscreen drain the battery? 

Minimally. The screen turns off after a few seconds of inactivity and only lights up when you interact with it or vape. It does not run continuously. 

Do Nord 5 pods fit the Nord 6? 

No. The Nord 6 uses its own pod cartridges. They are not interchangeable with Nord 4, Nord 5, or Novo pods.
