Nautilus 3 22 Tank By Aspire

The 22mm diameter version of Aspire's best-selling Nautilus 3. Built for mouth-to-lung vaping, the Nautilus 3²² tank holds 2ml of e-liquid, runs on Aspire's press-fit coil system, and gives you seven airflow settings to fine-tune the draw. Stainless steel construction, 510 threaded, and compatible with the full Nautilus coil family.

Two coils are included in the box: a 0.3ohm and a 1.0ohm, both from Aspire's Nautilus mesh range. Three colours in the store picker. Over 18s only. Browse more MTL Tanks at Pirate Vapes.

Why vapers choose the Nautilus 3²²:

  • Seven airflow settings give genuinely fine control over the draw, more adjustment than most MTL tanks bother offering

  • Press-fit coil swaps take seconds. No threading, no cross-threaded coils ruining a fresh purchase

  • Two coils in the box means you can compare the 0.3ohm and 1.0ohm straight away and find your preference without buying extras

  • 22mm diameter keeps the tank compact and better matched to slimmer MTL mods than the standard-size Nautilus 3

  • Stainless steel build holds up to daily use far better than the resin bodies on cheaper MTL tanks

Seven Airflow Settings, Not Two

Most MTL tanks give you a handful of airflow positions at best. The Nautilus 3²² has seven, adjusted by turning the lower section of the tank to reveal differently sized air vents. Smaller holes give a tighter, warmer draw. Larger holes open things up for a cooler, slightly looser pull. Worth spending five minutes finding your setting rather than leaving it wherever it lands out of the box.

Press-Fit Coils, Genuinely Fast

Aspire's press-fit system on the Nautilus 3 series removes the base, pulls the old coil, and presses the new one in until it seats. No threading. Fair enough, it sounds like a small thing, but cross-threaded coils are one of the most common reasons a coil dies before it even gets wet.

The Shutoff Valve Actually Matters

During a coil swap, the fill port's e-liquid shutoff valve closes automatically so liquid in the tank does not drain into the coil chamber while the base is open. Less mess, and less chance of flooding a fresh coil before it has even been primed.

Two Coils, Two Different Vapes

The box ships with a 0.3ohm mesh coil and a 1.0ohm mesh coil, both from the Aspire Nautilus range. The 1.0ohm gives a tighter, classic MTL draw closer to a cigarette pull. The 0.3ohm opens things up slightly for more vapour and a warmer hit. Try both before settling on a favourite. Aspire's wider Nautilus coil range also fits, so you are not locked to just these two resistances long-term.

Sized for Slimmer Mods

At 22mm diameter, the Nautilus 3²² is noticeably slimmer than the standard 24mm Nautilus 3. It sits flush on smaller pen-style devices and slimmer box mods without the overhang you get pairing a 24mm tank with a narrower body. If you have struggled to match a Nautilus tank to a compact mod before, this is the fix.

How to Set Up the Nautilus 3 22 Tank By Aspire

Straightforward press-fit swap. A couple of minutes if the coil is not already installed.

  1. Unscrew the base from the bottom of the tank to expose the coil chamber.

  2. Press the Nautilus coil firmly into the base until it clicks into place. No threading needed.

  3. Screw the base back onto the tank, making sure it is fully seated.

  4. Prime the coil with three to four drops of e-liquid onto the exposed wicking ports before filling.

  5. Fill through the top port, keeping liquid away from the central airflow tube, and close the cap.

  6. Leave the tank to stand for six minutes before your first draw, then start vaping at a low airflow setting and adjust from there.

What's in the Nautilus 3 22 Tank By Aspire Box

  • One Nautilus 3²² tank in your selected colour,

  • one 0.3ohm Aspire Nautilus coil

  • one 1.0ohm Aspire Nautilus coil

  • a spare glass tube,

  • and an O-ring pack.

No e-liquid, no device, no battery included.

Built for MTL, Compatible Across the Nautilus Range

The Nautilus 3²² is designed for Mouth-to-Lung Vaping, delivering a tight, cigarette-style draw rather than an open-lung DTL pull. It runs on Aspire's Nautilus coil platform, which spans a wide resistance range from mesh 0.3ohm through to 1.8ohm coils, plus Nautilus 2 and 2S variants. Its 510 threading means it fits any standard 510 mod, though it is built to be paired with lower-wattage MTL devices rather than sub-ohm box mods.

What it does not fit: Aspire's Cleito, Atlantis, or Cloudflask ranges, all of which use entirely separate coil platforms for DTL vaping. If your device currently runs GTX, PnP, or other third-party coils, those will not fit here either. Replacement Aspire Coils for the Nautilus range are stocked separately.

About Aspire

The Nautilus line is arguably Aspire's most enduring contribution to vaping. The original Nautilus tank helped define what a dependable MTL tank should look like, long before Pod Kits took over the entry-level market, and the platform has been refined through several generations since.

The Nautilus 3²² takes that same proven coil system and press-fit design and fits it into a slimmer 22mm body, aimed at vapers who want the classic Nautilus draw on a smaller, more travel-friendly mod. It is less a reinvention than a refinement of something Aspire already got right.

Stock Up and Save

A spare Nautilus coil or two is worth keeping on hand, since flavour on MTL coils tends to fade before the coil actually fails outright. Pick up a fresh pack alongside the tank, along with a bottle or two of nic salts, and you will not be caught short mid-week.

Every order from Pirate Vapes ships same day before 4 pm in padded packaging. TPD-compliant stock, age-verified checkout, over-18s only. Free Pirate Post on orders over £25.

Conclusion

The Nautilus 3²² brings Aspire's proven press-fit coil system and genuinely adjustable airflow into a slimmer, more compact tank built specifically for MTL vaping. Two coils in the box, seven airflow settings, and a stainless steel build that will outlast most tanks at this price point.

If you want the classic Nautilus draw without the bulk of the standard-size tank, this is worth a look. Browse the full range of Aspire Coils and vape accessories, or head back to Pirate Vapes for more from the Nautilus range.

FAQs

What coils fit the Nautilus 3²²?

Aspire's Nautilus coil range, including the 0.3ohm and 1.0ohm mesh coils included in the box, plus Nautilus 2, 2S, and Triton mini-Clapton variants.

Is this tank MTL or DTL?

MTL. The Nautilus 3²² is built for a tight, mouth-to-lung draw. It is not designed for sub-ohm cloud production.

What e-liquid should I use?

50/50 VG/PG nic salts work best, ideally 10mg or 20mg. The coil range and low-to-mid wattage suit thinner liquids rather than high-VG shortfills.

How is this different from the standard Nautilus 3?

Mainly size. The Nautilus 3²² has a 22mm diameter rather than the standard tank's 24mm, making it a better match for slimmer MTL devices.

Does the tank fit any 510 mod?

Yes, the 510 threading is universal, but it performs best on lower-wattage MTL devices rather than sub-ohm box mods.
