Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith ii Vape Kit

Swap the battery instead of waiting for a charge. The Z80 runs on a replaceable 18650 cell, so when it dies, you twist the cap, drop in a fresh battery, and keep going. That alone sets it apart from every built-in-battery kit in the Innokin range.

Behind it sits 80W of variable power, a 0.003-second ignition, Innokin's alternating current technology for longer coil life, and the Zenith II tank, the one that built Innokin's reputation for MTL. Full Z-Coil compatibility. Suede and leather-textured finishes. Pirate Vapes ships it age-verified across the UK.

Why vapers choose this:

  • A swappable 18650 battery so you never wait for a charge.

  • FØ alternating current tech extends coil life and lifts flavour.

  • 80W of variable power with a 0.003-second firing speed.

  • The Zenith II tank, the benchmark MTL tank with leak-resistant revolving fill.

  • Full Z-Coil compatibility, the same coils across the entire Zenith and Zlide platform.

Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith ii Vape Kit Features

Swap the Battery, Skip the Wait

Most mods make you sit while they charge. The Z80 takes a standard 18650 battery behind a twist-off cap on the base. Carry a spare, and you have infinite runtime. When one battery dies mid-afternoon, swap it in ten seconds and carry on. If you do want to charge in the device, there is a USB-C port at 1.7A, but the swappable cell is the reason people choose this over the Z60.

FØ, Not Just a Fancy Name

Innokin's FØ mode sends an alternating current across the coil in two directions while you vape. What that does, in practice, is heat the coil more evenly and clear residue as you go. The result is cleaner flavour and longer coil life compared to a standard constant-current fire. Refresh mode is there too, manually pulsing the coil at 40% power to saturate the wick when flavour starts to dull.

80W and 0.003-Second Firing

The Z80 fires in three thousandths of a second. Press the button and vapour is already there, with no perceptible ramp-up. With 80W on tap, it runs every Z-Coil in the range comfortably, from the 1.6Ω at 10W through to the 0.3Ω at 40W, with headroom to spare. The voltage range stretches from 1 to 7.5V, so it handles a broader spread of coils than the Z60 can.

The Zenith II Tank

The Zenith II is the tank that cemented Innokin's MTL reputation. It fills via a revolving cap with a silicone-sealed port, quick and nearly spill-proof. The airflow ring adjusts from a tight, silent MTL draw to a decent restricted lung hit. At 2ml TPD capacity, it holds enough for a reasonable stretch between fills, and it takes every Z-Coil in the range. This is the bigger, more premium tank compared to the Zlide Top that ships with the Z60.

Suede, Leather and Zinc

The Z80 is not a smooth, plastic-feeling kit. The body is zinc alloy with textured panels that feel like suede or leather depending on the colour. It is heavier than a pod kit at around 198g, but that weight gives it a solid, confident feel in the hand. The recessed master switch on the base shuts the device fully off for travel.

Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith ii Vape Kit Colours

Six finishes, each with a distinct texture. The leather and suede feel is a genuine selling point; these do not look or feel like any other kit on the shelf.

  • Leather Black - a dark, textured leather finish

  • Ash Grey - a muted, soft grey

  • Cloudy Grey - a lighter, two-tone grey

  • Leather White - a crisp white with a leather-grain texture

  • Rose Gold - a warm, metallic pink-gold

  • Red - a bold, vivid red

How to Set Up the Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith ii Vape Kit

  1. Twist the battery cap on the base, insert an 18650 battery (check polarity), and twist shut.

  2. Push-fit a Z-Coil into the tank base. The 0.8Ω is a good starting point for MTL.

  3. Drop a couple of drops of e-liquid onto the wicking ports on the coil.

  4. Revolve the top cap on the Zenith II to reveal the fill port, add your e-liquid, and close it.

  5. Let the tank stand for five to ten minutes so the cotton soaks.

  6. Press the fire button three times to power on, set your wattage, and vape.

What's in the Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith ii Vape Kit Box

You get the Coolfire Z80 mod, the Zenith II tank (2ml TPD), a 0.8Ω Z-Coil, a 0.3Ω Z-Coil, a spare glass section, a USB-C cable, and a quick start guide. An 18650 battery may or may not be included depending on the version; check the listing. Grab a bottle of Nic Salts for the 0.8Ω or a 70-30 Shortfill for the 0.3Ω. Need a battery? Browse our Vape Batteries page. Need coils? The Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils fit this tank.

Compatible coils include 1.6Ω, 1.2Ω, 1.0Ω, 0.8Ω, 0.6Ω DuoPrime, 0.5Ω Plexus, 0.48Ω PLEX3D, and 0.3Ω Mesh RDL. There are no compatibility restrictions with the Z80.

About Innokin

The Coolfire Z80 is the kit Innokin built for people who treat their vape like a daily tool. Swappable batteries, 80W of headroom, FØ coil-extending tech, and the Zenith II tank, the one Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis helped design.

It has been around for a few years now, and the fact that it still sells speaks to how well-built it is. For a vaper who has moved past pods and wants a compact mod that genuinely lasts, the Z80 is Innokin at its most complete.

Stock Up and Save

The Z80 runs on an 18650, so a spare battery and a charger mean you never stop vaping to wait for a charge. Pair that with a 5-pack of Z-Coils from our Vape Coils Page and a few bottles from E-Liquids, and you are set for weeks. Genuine Innokin, dispatched tracked, age-verified checkout, 2ml TPD tank.

Conclusion

The Z80 is the Coolfire you buy when you want everything the Z60 does, plus a swappable battery and more power. The Zenith II tank is a proven MTL performer; the FØ alternating current mode keeps coils going longer, and 80W means every Z-Coil in the range fires comfortably.

If you want a compact mod with tank-level flavour and zero charging downtime, this is it. Grab yours from Pirate Vapes with fast, age-verified UK delivery.

FAQs

Does the battery come included?

Check the listing. Some versions include an 18650, others sell the mod only. Either way, grab a spare from our Vape Batteries page; having two means you never run flat.

How is this different from the Z60?

The Z80 has a swappable 18650 battery (the Z60's is built-in), 80W instead of 60W, FØ alternating current tech instead of Coil+, and the Zenith II tank instead of the Zlide Top. Both run Z-Coils.

What is FØ mode?

Innokin's 4th-generation firing tech. It sends alternating current across the coil in two directions, heating it more evenly and clearing residue as you vape. The result is richer flavour and a longer-lasting coil.

Can it run every Z-Coil?

Yes, all eight. 80W and a 0.1Ω resistance floor mean nothing in the Z-Coil range is out of reach.

What juice should I use?

Nic Salts or 50-50 E-Liquid for the higher-resistance MTL coils. A 70-30 Shortfill for the 0.3Ω. The 0.8Ω handles both well.
