Innokin Zlide Adept Vape Kit

Drop it, splash it, dust it. The Adept is IP67 rated, meaning it is certified waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof. That is not marketing fluff; it is a standard rating that most vape kits cannot claim. Behind the tough shell sits a 3000mAh battery that lasts days, not hours, paired with the Zlide D22 MTL tank and the entire Z-Coil range you already know from the Zenith platform.

The device reads your coil and auto-selects the wattage, so there is nothing to learn. 2ml tank, slide-to-fill, rubberised finish in six colours. Pirate Vapes ships it age-verified across the UK.

Why vapers choose this:

  • IP67 rated, genuinely waterproof, dustproof and built to take a knock.

  • 3000mAh battery that comfortably outlasts two days of moderate use.

  • Auto-wattage reads the coil and picks the right power, no setup needed.

  • Two coils in the box, a mesh for flavour and a 1.6Ω for a tight MTL draw.

  • Uses the whole Z-Coil range, one of the widest coil platforms in MTL vaping.

Innokin Zlide Adept Vape Kit Features

IP67, and That Actually Means Something

Most kits die the first time they meet a puddle. The Adept carries a certified IP67 rating: waterproof against spray and short immersion, sealed against dust, and shockproofed to survive a drop onto a hard surface. If you work outdoors, hike, cycle, or just have a habit of knocking things off tables, this is the kit that shrugs it off. The rubberised shell helps with grip too, which is the kind of practical detail that matters more than it sounds.

3000mAh, Multi-Day Battery

At 11 to 17W, a 3000mAh battery lasts a long time. Two days of moderate use is normal. Heavy vapers might need to charge nightly, but most people find themselves going well past the end of the second day before the LED turns red. Charging runs through Micro USB at 2A, so roughly ninety minutes back to full. Not USB-C, which is the one concession to the Adept's age.

Auto Wattage, Zero Learning Curve

The Adept reads the resistance of the coil you have fitted and sets itself to one of two ranges: 11 to 14W for coils above 1.0Ω, or 14 to 17W for coils below 1.0Ω. Press the select button to cycle through four optimised wattage steps within your range. That is the entire interface. No menus, no screens to navigate, no wrong settings.

The Zlide D22 Tank

The tank that comes with the Adept is the Zlide D22, a slim 22mm MTL tank with a 2ml TPD capacity. It fills from the top via a slide-open cap, which is quick and one-handed, and uses a locking 510 drip tip that will not pop off in a pocket. It takes every Z-Coil in the range, so the same coils you use in a Zenith or Kroma-Z screw straight in.

Built From the Z-Coil Platform

The Zenith Z-Coil is Innokin's universal MTL coil, and the Adept runs it. That gives you access to mesh coils, Plex3D, Duoprime and standard Kanthal options across a spread of resistances. Two limits to know: the 0.3Ω and 1.0Ω RDL coils need more than 17W, so they will not fire properly on the Adept. Everything else in the range works.

Innokin Zlide Adept Vape Kit Colours

Six finishes, all on the same rubberised zinc alloy body. The coating gives them a soft, grippy feel that standard paint does not.

  • Black - clean, hides wear

  • White - crisp, minimal

  • Blue Gradient - a shifting, two-tone blue

  • Sea Blue - a deeper, solid blue

  • Blue - a lighter, classic blue

  • Green - a natural, muted green

How to Set Up the Innokin Zlide Adept Vape Kit

  1. Charge the Adept over Micro USB until the LED shows green. Takes about ninety minutes.

  2. Unscrew the Zlide tank base and screw in your coil. The 0.48Ω Plex3D comes pre-installed; the 1.6Ω is the spare.

  3. Drop a couple of drops of e-liquid onto the wicking ports on the side of the coil to speed up priming.

  4. Reassemble the tank, slide the top cap open, fill with e-liquid, and close it.

  5. Let the tank stand for five to ten minutes so the cotton soaks fully.

  6. Press the fire button and vape. Cycle the wattage with the select button if you want to adjust within the auto range.

What's in the Innokin Zlide Adept Vape Kit Box

You get the:

  • Adept mod,

  • the Zlide D22 tank,

  • a 0.48Ω Z-PLEX3D coil pre-installed,

  • a spare 1.6Ω Zenith coil,

  • a replacement glass section,

  • a set of spare O-rings,

  • and a Micro USB cable.

E-liquid is not included. Grab a bottle of Nic Salts for the 1.6Ω or 50-50 E-Liquid for either coil. Need spare coils? The Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils fit this tank directly, and you will find the full range on our Vape Coils page.

Runs the Entire Innokin Z-Coil Range

The Innokin Zlide D22 uses the full Z-Coil Range, the same coils used in Zenith, Zenith Pro, Kroma-Z, and other Z-Coil compatible devices. Most Z-Coils work with the Adept kit, giving you plenty of MTL options.

Compatible coils include 1.6Ω, 1.2Ω, 0.8Ω, 0.6Ω Duoprime, 0.48Ω PLEX3D, and 0.5Ω Plexus.

The 1.0Ω RDL and 0.3Ω Mesh RDL coils are not suitable because they require more power than the Adept’s 17W maximum output.

You will find the coils and the wider Innokin range in our Innokin Vapes collection.

About Innokin

The Adept was designed with Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis, two of the most respected reviewers in MTL vaping, and it shows in the priorities: coil life, battery endurance, and a body that survives real life. Innokin has always leaned toward practical, unglamorous engineering over flashy features, and the Adept is probably the purest expression of that. An IP67 rating, a 3000mAh battery, and a proven coil platform. Nothing trendy, nothing fragile. It is the kit people buy when they want something that works every day without thinking about it.

Stock Up and Save

There is a reason the Adept has fans who have owned three or four of them. It works, it lasts, and the coils are cheap. The Z-Coil 5-pack goes a long way at these wattages, and pairing it with a juice from our Multibuys page keeps the running cost low. Genuine Innokin, dispatched tracked, age-verified at checkout, 2ml TPD tank. A Refillable Pod Kit in box-mod clothing.

Conclusion

The Adept is not the newest kit on the shelf, and it does not pretend to be. What it is: a tank-and-mod setup that handles rain, dust, drops and multi-day battery life without breaking a sweat. The Zlide D22 tank runs the same Z-Coil range as the rest of Innokin's platform, so coil choice is wide, and spares are everywhere.

Auto wattage means nothing to configure. If you want a no-fuss MTL kit that genuinely survives outdoor life, this is the one. Grab yours from Pirate Vapes with fast, age-verified UK delivery.

FAQs

Is it really waterproof?

IP67 certified. It handles splashes, rain and brief immersion. It is not designed for swimming or prolonged submersion, but a dropped-in-a-puddle moment will not kill it. The 510 connector is sealed with a watertight quick-release.

How long does the battery last?

Two days is typical at MTL wattages. Heavy vapers might need a nightly charge. The 3000mAh capacity at 11 to 17W output is remarkably efficient.

Do I set the wattage myself?

Sort of. The Adept reads your coil and auto-selects a wattage range. You then cycle through four steps within that range using the select button. No menus, no screen, just the button and a tri-colour LED.

Which coils fit?

Every Z-Coil except the 0.3Ω and 1.0Ω RDL, which need more power than the Adept's 17W maximum. The 0.48Ω, 0.5Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.2Ω and 1.6Ω all work.

Why Micro USB and not USB-C?

The Adept was designed before USB-C became standard on vape kits. It charges at 2A regardless, so the speed is fine, but you will need a Micro USB cable rather than the USB-C most newer devices use.

What juice should I use?

Nic Salts on the 1.6Ω for a tight, smooth MTL hit. 50-50 E-Liquid on the 0.48Ω Plex3D for warmer flavour. Both work well on either coil, but the pairing makes the most of each.
