Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils - 0.3ohm Mesh RDL is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils
If you own any Innokin tank from the Zenith or Zlide family, these are the coils that keep it running. The Z-Coil range covers a spread of resistances from tight MTL to restricted lung draws, all built from Kanthal wire and organic Japanese cotton in a vertical bottom-coil design.
The Plexus and Plex3D versions add a mesh strip for even heating and richer flavour. Each coil screws into the base of the tank, primes in a few minutes, and lasts one to three weeks depending on your juice and wattage. Sold in packs of 5. Pirate Vapes ships them age-verified across the UK.
Why vapers choose this:
-
One coil platform across a dozen Innokin tanks, so spares are never wasted.
-
The Plexus mesh versions heat evenly for cleaner, fuller flavour.
-
Kanthal wire and organic cotton, proven materials that last.
-
Five to a pack, which covers most vapers for a month or more.
-
Vertical bottom-coil design with multiple wicking ports to resist dry hits.
Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils Features
Mesh Where It Matters
The Plexus (0.5Ω) and Plex3D (0.48Ω) coils use a mesh strip instead of a traditional wire wrap. Mesh spreads the heat across a wider area, so your e-liquid warms more evenly, and the flavour comes through richer. If you have only tried the wire coils (0.8Ω, 1.6Ω), switching to a Plexus mesh at a similar wattage is a noticeable upgrade in taste.
Eight Coils, One Tank
The Z-Coil range is genuinely wide. The 1.6Ω at 10 to 14W gives the tightest, coolest, most cigarette-like draw. The 1.2Ω and 0.6Ω Duoprime sit in firm MTL territory. The 0.8Ω warms things up. The 0.48Ω PLEX3D and 0.5Ω Plexus mesh coils push into light RDL with noticeably richer flavour. The 1.0Ω RDL offers a restricted lung draw at higher power. And the 0.3Ω Mesh RDL opens right up for proper DTL clouds at 30 to 40W. One tank, eight moods.
Built to Last
Innokin built these on Kanthal wire with organic Japanese cotton, which is a combination that handles heat well and wicks cleanly. Users regularly report one to three weeks per coil on moderate use. Sweet or heavily coloured juices will shorten that, but on a lighter tobacco or menthol, these go the distance.
Fits Almost Everything Innokin Makes
The Z-Coil is Innokin's universal MTL coil. It screws into the Zenith, the Zlide, the Zenith Pro, the Zenith II, the Kroma-Z pod, the Z-Biip pod and more. If you own two Innokin devices, your spare coils almost certainly fit both. That kind of cross-compatibility is rare and saves real money.
Vertical Design, Clean Wicking
The coil sits vertically inside the tank base with wicking ports running down both sides. That position exposes the cotton to e-liquid evenly, so one side does not burn out while the other stays saturated. Fewer hot spots, fewer dry hits, and a more consistent draw from the first puff to the last.
Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils Resistance Options
No flavour to choose from. These are empty coils that sit inside your tank, and you fill the tank with your own juice. Eight options on the listing, covering tight MTL through to proper DTL.
MTL coils (tight draw, lower wattage):
-
1.6ohm - the tightest, coolest pull, 10 to 14W, closest to a cigarette
-
1.2ohm - firm MTL, 9 to 13W, a good nic salt coil
-
0.6ohm Duoprime - a smooth MTL at 9 to 13W, dual-coil design
-
0.8ohm - warmer MTL, 15 to 18W, a step up in vapour
Mesh and RDL coils (more flavour, more vapour):
-
0.48ohm PLEX3D - 3D mesh, warm flavour, 13 to 16W, the gateway to mesh
-
0.5ohm Plexus - flat mesh, rich flavour, 14 to 19W
-
1.0ohm RDL - mesh, restricted lung draw, 20 to 25W, more vapour
-
0.3ohm Mesh RDL - full DTL clouds, 30 to 40W, needs a higher-power device
The MTL coils (0.6Ω and above) pair best with Nic Salts or 50-50 E-Liquid. The mesh and RDL coils suit 50-50 E-Liquid or a thicker 70-30 Shortfill on the 0.3Ω. Browse the full range in our E-Liquids collection.
How to Set Up the Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils
-
Unscrew the base of your tank and pull or unscrew the old coil from the base plate.
-
Screw the new coil in until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
-
Add a couple of drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton wicking ports on the side of the coil. This speeds up the priming.
-
Reassemble the tank, fill with e-liquid, and let it stand for five to ten minutes before the first draw. The cotton needs to saturate fully.
What's in the Innokin Zenith Plexus-Z Replacement Coils Box
Five coils in the resistance you choose. No tank, no device, no e-liquid. Just the coils. Grab the Innokin Z Coils page for the full range and a bottle from our E-Liquids collection to fill your tank.
Fits the Zenith, Zlide and Kroma-Z Families
The Innokin Z-Coil works across a wide range of Innokin MTL tanks, pods, and kits. One coil platform fits the Zenith, Zlide, GO Z, Z-Biip, Kroma-Z, and CoolFire Z families, so you can easily replace coils without changing your setup.
Compatible devices include Zenith MTL, Zenith D22, Zenith II, Zenith Pro, Zenith Minimal, Zlide, Zlide D22, Zlide Top, GO Z Tank, Z-Biip Pod, Kroma-Z Pod, CoolFire Z50, CoolFire Z60, and CoolFire Z80.
One note: the Adept mod maxes out at 17W, so the 0.3Ω RDL coil (30-40W) will not fire properly on it. Every other resistance works fine. You will find the coils alongside the tanks and kits in our Innokin Vapes collection, with spares in Vape Coils.
About Innokin
The Zenith coil is one of those products that earned its reputation the slow way. Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis helped design the original Zenith tank, and the coil platform that came with it ended up in almost every MTL device Innokin has released since.
That longevity says something: the Z-Coil works, spares are everywhere, and the range is deep enough to suit almost any MTL or light RDL preference. Innokin is not the flashiest brand on the shelf, but for consistency and coil life, the Zenith platform is hard to argue with.
Stock Up and Save
Five coils per pack, and most vapers get one to three weeks per coil, so a single box can last two months or more. That makes these one of the cheapest consumables to stock. We check every order before dispatch, tracked and age-verified, genuine Innokin. If you vape the same resistance every time, two boxes at once through our Vape Deals page locks you in for the season.
Conclusion
If you own any tank in the Zenith or Zlide family, the Z-Coil is the only coil you need. The Plexus mesh versions bring richer flavour, the wire coils deliver a reliable, cigarette-style MTL draw, and the range covers practically every wattage and draw style between them.
Five to a pack, proven materials, and one of the widest compatibility lists in vaping. Grab a box from Pirate Vapes with fast, age-verified UK delivery.
FAQs
Plexus, Plex3D, or standard- what is the difference?
The Plexus (0.5Ω) and Plex3D (0.48Ω) use mesh heating strips for richer, more even flavour. The standard coils (0.8Ω, 1.2Ω, 1.6Ω) use traditional Kanthal wire. All of them screw into the same tanks.
Will these fit my Zlide tank?
Yes. Every Z-Coil fits every Zlide tank, including the D22 that comes with the Adept kit. The only exception is the 0.3Ω RDL coil, which needs more than 17W and will not work on the Adept mod.
How long does a coil last?
One to three weeks is typical. Lighter juices like tobacco and menthol tend to go longer. Sweet or heavily coloured liquids gunk the cotton faster.
Do I need to prime the coil?
Yes. Drop a little e-liquid onto the wicking ports before installing, fill the tank, and wait five to ten minutes. Skipping this step burns the cotton on the first puff and ruins a fresh coil.
Which resistance for a beginner?
The 1.6Ω is the easiest starting point. Tight draw, low wattage, long battery life, and a feel that sits close to a cigarette. The 0.6Ω Duoprime is another smooth MTL option at similar wattage. Once you are comfortable, try the 0.5Ω Plexus for more flavour or the 1.0Ω RDL for a bit more vapour.
Are these the same as the VCAP coils?
No. The Z-Coils screw into Zenith and Zlide tanks. The VCAP pods have their own built-in coil. They are separate product lines.
