The mesh element inside each pod is wrapped in five layers of cotton fibre arranged for maximum absorption speed. Three silicone seals sit at the fill port, the pod base, and the contact points. How to Set Up the OXVA VPrime Replacement Pods

1. Unpack. Take a fresh pod from the 2-pack. Check the base colour matches the resistance you want.

2. Fill. Lift the silicone plug on the side of the pod. Squeeze your e-liquid in up to the fill line. Press the plug firmly shut.

3. Prime. Let the filled pod sit upright for five to ten minutes. The five-layer cotton wicking needs time to fully soak. Skipping this step risks burning the mesh on the first draw.

4. Remove the old pod. Pull the spent pod from your VPrime device and discard it.

5. Insert. Push the new pod into the device. The magnets lock it in. The VPrime screen shows the detected resistance and auto-adjusts the wattage via Smart VW.

6. Adjust airflow if needed. Use the airflow control on the VPrime device to fine-tune the draw.

7. Vape. Inhale through the mouthpiece or press the fire button on the VPrime.

Which resistance should I start with? 

0.6 ohm. It sits at the RDTL crossover, handles both 50/50 and 70/30 liquids, and runs at a moderate 20-25W. If you want tighter MTL, step up to the 0.8. If you want bigger cloud, step down to the 0.4 or 0.2.

Do these fit Xlim or NeXlim devices? 

No. VPrime pods only fit the VPrime kit. The Xlim, NeXlim, and VPrime all use different pod formats even though they share UniTech mesh technology. Check your device before ordering.

Can I use nic salts? 

In the 0.6 and 0.8-ohm pods, yes. Nic salts and 50/50 blends are recommended for these resistances. The 0.2 and 0.4-ohm pods run at higher wattages and are better suited to high VG freebase (70/30 or above). Using full-strength nic salt in a 0.2-ohm pod at 50W would deliver far too much nicotine.

What do the base colours mean? 

Red = 0.2Ω (DTL). Gold = 0.4Ω (RDTL). Black = 0.6Ω (RDTL). The 0.8-ohm does not currently have a standardised colour code. The colour is visible at the bottom of the pod.

How many come in a pack?
