SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils | Pack Of 3 - 0.15ohm TFV18 Dual Meshed Coil is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils
Same wattage range. Different mesh count. That is the choice. Both the 0.33Ω single mesh and the 0.15Ω dual mesh run at 80 to 140W and perform best around 100 to 110W. The difference is what happens inside: single mesh gives a slightly tighter flavour focus with more throat, while dual mesh spreads the heat wider for thicker, denser cloud.
Both use FeCrAl mesh with organic cotton, both press-fit into the tank, and both come in packs of 3. Fits the TFV18, TFV18 Mini and TFV16 tanks. Pirate Vapes ships them age-verified across the UK.
Why vapers choose this:
-
Two mesh builds at the same wattage, so you pick by flavour style, not by power.
-
100 to 110W sweet spot delivers serious cloud and bold taste.
-
FeCrAl mesh heats fast and evenly across a large surface.
-
Press-fit installation, push in and pull out, no threading.
-
Cross-compatible with the TFV18, TFV18 Mini and the older TFV16.
SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils Features
Single Mesh vs Dual Mesh, the Real Difference
Both run 80 to 140W. Both hit best around 100 to 110W. So why pick one over the other? The 0.33Ω single mesh has a slightly smaller footprint inside the tank, which means a tighter vapour stream and more concentrated flavour with a bit of throat feel. The 0.15Ω dual mesh spreads across a wider area, heating more e-liquid at once for thicker, fuller cloud and a softer draw. Neither is objectively better. It comes down to whether you want punch or volume.
Built for Triple-Digit Wattage
These coils do not wake up until 80W. They hit their stride at 100W and above. If your mod tops out at 60W, these are not for you. But if you run a dual-battery or triple-battery mod with headroom to spare, the TFV18 mesh rewards every watt you feed it. The High-VG Juice it needs is thick enough to keep up, and the organic cotton wicks fast at temperature.
FeCrAl Mesh, Not Kanthal
SMOK uses FeCrAl (iron-chromium-aluminium alloy) rather than Kanthal for the TFV18 mesh. FeCrAl handles higher temperatures better and ramps up faster, which matters when you are pushing past 100W. The practical difference is a quicker first-puff response and a coil that holds its shape longer under sustained heat.
Press-Fit, Oversized
The coil pushes into the TFV18 tank base and holds by friction. These are physically large coils, bigger than most sub-ohm options, and the press-fit is firm enough to hold them steady even at high wattage where heat expansion is a factor. Pull to remove, push to install. No cross-threading risk.
TFV18, TFV18 Mini and TFV16
One coil fits three SMOK tanks. The TFV18 is the full-size flagship, the TFV18 Mini is the compact version (ships with the G-Priv 4), and the older TFV16 also takes these coils. That cross-compatibility means your spares cover whichever TFV you own. They do not fit the TFV12, TFV8 or any other SMOK tank family.
SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils Resistance Options
No flavour to choose. These are empty coils, you fill the tank yourself. Two options, both at the same wattage.
-
0.33ohm TFV18 Meshed Coil - single mesh, 80 to 140W (best 100-110W), tighter flavour focus, more throat
-
0.15ohm TFV18 Dual Meshed Coil - dual mesh, 80 to 140W (best 100-110W), wider cloud, smoother draw
Both need thick juice. A 70-30 Shortfill at 3mg freebase is the standard pairing. Nic salts at these wattages would be unbearable. Browse our e-liquid collection for the right bottle.
How to Set Up the SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils
-
Unscrew the TFV18 tank base and pull the spent coil straight out.
-
Push the new coil into the base until it seats firmly. No turning needed.
-
Saturate the visible cotton on the outside of the coil with a few drops of juice before reassembling.
-
Put the tank back together, fill with high-VG e-liquid, and leave it for five to ten minutes.
-
Start around 80W and work up to your preferred wattage over the first few draws.
What's in the SMOK TFV18 Replacement Coils Box
Three mesh coils in whichever variant you choose. No tank, no device, no e-liquid. At 100W+ these coils drink juice quickly, so grab a couple of Shortfills alongside the coils to avoid running dry mid-week.
Fits the SMOK TFV18, TFV18 Mini and TFV16
One coil covers three SMOK sub-ohm tanks: the full-size TFV18, the TFV18 Mini (from the G-Priv 4 kit), and the older TFV16. All three use the same press-fit base. They do not fit the TFV12, TFV8, Baby Beast or any other SMOK tank range. Check the name printed on your tank before ordering. Find the full SMOK Range in our SMOK collection and more coil options in the coils section.
About SMOK
The TFV series is where SMOK made its name in sub-ohm vaping. The TFV8 was the tank that kicked off the cloud-chasing era, and the TFV18 is its latest descendant: bigger, wider, and built to handle 140W without flinching.
The mesh coils that replaced SMOK's older wire builds brought a noticeable jump in flavour, and the dual mesh option pushes that further with a wider heating surface. For high-wattage DTL vapers who want a tank that keeps up with a powerful mod, the TFV18 platform is one of SMOK's strongest.
Stock Up and Save
Three coils per pack. At 100W and above, budget for a coil every five to seven days and a lot of juice alongside it. Buying a couple of coil packs with a few bottles from our multi-buy page keeps the running cost from creeping up. Genuine SMOK, dispatched tracked, age-verified checkout. Over 18s only.
Conclusion
Two mesh coils. Same wattage. Different character. The 0.33Ω for tighter, punchier flavour. The 0.15Ω for wider, thicker cloud. Both press into the TFV18 and fire best around 100 to 110W. Simple choice, serious output. Grab a 3-pack from Pirate Vapes with fast, age-verified UK delivery.
FAQs
Why do both coils have the same wattage range?
Because the difference is not about power, it is about mesh count. Single mesh concentrates the heat for punchier flavour. Dual mesh spreads it for bigger cloud. Both work at 80 to 140W, so you pick by draw style, not wattage.
Will these fit my TFV16?
Yes. The TFV18 coils are cross-compatible with the TFV16 and the TFV18 Mini. They will not fit the TFV12 or TFV8.
What juice should I use?
High-VG at 70% or above. Freebase at 3mg is the standard at these wattages. Nic salts would be far too harsh. Thin 50/50 juice will flood the coil and leak.
How long does a coil last?
Five to seven days of heavy use at 100W+. Lighter vapers might stretch past a week. Sweet juices and chain-vaping shorten the life, as always.
Is the RBA option available?
The store lists the 0.33Ω single mesh and 0.15Ω dual mesh. An RBA deck exists for the TFV18 (0.33Ω, 45-80W) but is a separate product and may not be stocked.
Three coils per pack seems low?
It is standard for SMOK's larger sub-ohm coils. The TFV18 coils are physically big, which keeps the pack count lower than the 5-packs you see on smaller platforms.
