The threaded battery cap at the base of the Nunchaku 2 accepts three different cell sizes: 18650, 20700, and 21700. Adapter sleeves are included for the smaller cells. Practically, this means you are not locked into a single battery type.

Tilt to Adjust: The Motion Sensor That Actually Works

The 6-axis MEMS motion sensor is the Nunchaku 2's party trick, and it is more useful than it sounds. Tilt the device left or right to scroll through wattage or temperature settings on the OLED display.

A Tank That Cleans Itself

Rotate the top cap 90 degrees, and the fill port opens. A silicone check valve sits inside the port, preventing liquid from leaking out when the cap is removed. Fill, twist shut, done. How to Set Up the Uwell Nunchaku 2

1. Unscrew the base cap of the mod. Select your battery: 18650, 20700, or 21700. If using an 18650 or 20700, fit the correct adapter sleeve over the battery first. Drop the battery in positive end first, then screw the cap back on.

2. Install a coil. Take the Nunchaku 2 tank and remove the base. Push the 0.2ohm or 0.14ohm mesh coil into the coil seat until it clicks. Reattach the base.

3. Prime the coil. Apply four to five drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton visible through the coil's juice ports. Rotate the coil as you go so the cotton saturates evenly around the full circumference.

4. Fill the tank. Twist the top cap a quarter turn to expose the fill port. Tilt the bottle nozzle into the port, fill to just below the max line, and twist the cap back to sealed.

5. Let the cotton absorb fully. Stand the assembled kit upright and leave it for eight to ten minutes. The honeycomb mesh wicking needs time to draw liquid through the dense cotton layer. Rushing this step will burn the coil permanently on the first fire.

6. Fire at low wattage. Press the fire button five times to power on. Start at 40W and take a few gentle draws. Increase gradually to the recommended 50W to 60W range once the flavour develops.
