Full TPU Rubber Body Protection

The entire device, mod and tank, is encased in TPU rubber. It absorbs impacts from drops, protects the finish from scratches, and adds grip. The protection does not add bulk the way silicone cases do on other mods. It is built into the design of the Armour S rather than bolted on as an afterthought.

AXON Chip with Five Modes

Wattage mode for straightforward power control. Pulse mode sends short bursts for consistent output across the battery cycle. F(t) mode lets you set a power curve over time. ECO mode tapers wattage as the battery drops to extend life. TC mode runs temperature control for nickel, stainless steel, and titanium coils. The 0.96-inch TFT screen shows all settings clearly.

Uni-Lock Fire Button

One button handles both firing and locking. Press to fire. Slide to lock. When locked, the device cannot fire in a pocket or bag. Simpler than the five-click lock systems on most mods, and faster to engage when you are on the move.

iTank T with Top Airflow and Auto-Open Fill

The iTank T connects via 510 thread. Top airflow means liquid does not contact the airflow slots, which reduces the leaking that plagues bottom-airflow sub-ohm tanks. The fill cap springs open when you press the release button, letting you top up one-handed. A silicone gasket keeps the fill port sealed when closed.

21700 and 18650 Battery Compatibility

The Armour S runs on a single 21700 battery for maximum capacity and output. An 18650 adapter sleeve sits inside the mod so you can use your existing 18650 batteries too. The bottom-hinged battery door opens with a single press of the unlock button. Batteries are not included. Use high-drain cells rated for 100W output.

How to Set Up the Vaporesso Armour S Kit

1. Insert the battery. Press the unlock button on the base to open the battery door. Slide a 21700 battery in (or an 18650 with the included sleeve). Close the door until it clicks.

2. Install the coil. The GTi 0.2-ohm coil comes pre-installed in the iTank T. If you want the 0.4-ohm instead, unscrew the base of the tank, pull the 0.2 out, and thread the 0.4 in.

3. Fill the tank. Press the release button on the top cap. The lid springs open. Squeeze your 70/30 shortfill into the fill port. Close the cap until it latches.

4. Prime the coil. Let the filled tank sit for five to ten minutes so the cotton soaks. Drop a few drops directly onto the exposed cotton through the top of the coil to speed this up.

5. Attach the tank. Screw the iTank T onto the 510 connector on the mod. The AXON chip auto-detects the coil resistance.

6. Set your wattage. The TFT screen shows the current output. Use the fire button controls to adjust. Start at the lower end of the coil's recommended range and work up.

7. Vape. Press and hold the fire button while inhaling. DTL: breathe directly into the lungs.

Built for the Full GTi Coil Range and Any 510 Tank

The Armour S supports the complete Vaporesso GTi coil range through the included iTank T. Its standard 510 connection also lets you use most third-party 510 tanks if you want a different setup.

The compatible GTi coils include:

Is the battery included?

The Armour S requires a single 21700 battery (sold separately). It also accepts 18650 batteries with the included adapter sleeve. Use high-drain cells rated for the wattage you vape at.

What is the difference between the Armour S and the Armour Max? 

The Armour S runs one battery (21700 or 18650) at up to 100W. The Armour Max runs two batteries at up to 220W. Same AXON chip, same iTank, same coils. Choose based on how much power and battery life you need.

What coils does this use? 

GTi mesh coils. NOT GTX. The GTi range covers 0.15 to 0.5 ohm and fits the iTank T, iTank 2, and other Vaporesso sub-ohm tanks. GTX coils are a different series for the Luxe XR range.

Can I use nic salts in this? 

Not recommended. At 50-75W, the nicotine delivery from nic salts would be far too high. Use high VG shortfills (70/30 or above) with freebase nicotine at 0-6mg.

What is Uni-lock? 

A single button that handles both firing and locking. Slide it to lock (prevents misfires in a pocket). Press it to fire. Faster and simpler than clicking a fire button five times.

Can I use a different tank?

The Armour S has a standard 510 thread connection. Any 510 tank fits. The included iTank T is optimised for GTi coils, but third-party tanks with their own coils work fine.
