Aspire Huracan Sub-Ohm Tank

Two BP Meshed coils, adjustable top airflow, and a quick-twist top-fill system built into a genuinely compact body. The Aspire Huracan pairs a 0.15ohm mesh coil for warm, flavour-dense hits with a 0.3ohm coil option for a slightly cooler draw, both wrapped in a stainless steel housing that fits comfortably on most regulated mods.

UK stock ships at 2ml, fully TPD-compliant. That does not cost you anything in performance though. Flavour and vapour output stay exactly what Aspire’s mesh coil platform is known for. Good fit if clouds, sharp flavour, and a tank that will not leak all over your mod are what you are after.

Why vapers choose this:

  • Better flavour density and a faster heat-up than older round-wire builds, thanks to the BP Meshed coil tech

  • Sits flush on most regulated box mods. No overhang, despite being a proper sub-ohm tank

  • Top airflow design, so e-liquid stays locked inside rather than finding its way onto your mod

  • Twist the cap, fill, twist it shut. Refilling takes seconds and there is no mess

  • Wide adjustment range on the airflow, from a slightly restricted hit right through to big, open clouds

Aspire Huracan Sub-Ohm Tank Features

BP Meshed Coils, Built for Flavour and Speed

The pre-installed 0.15ohm BP Meshed coil heats fast and delivers the kind of dense, layered flavour mesh coils are known for over older Kanthal round-wire builds. Fair enough if you have been burned by cheap mesh coils before, but Aspire's BP platform has a solid track record across their tank range, and the Huracan carries that same coil architecture.

Compact Enough for Any Mod

Sub-ohm tanks have a habit of dwarfing the mod underneath them. The Huracan avoids that. Its proportions keep it in scale with most single and dual-battery box mods, so you are not left with an awkward top-heavy setup that tips over on a table.

Tailored Sub-Ohm Performance

Swap between the two included coils to shift the Huracan's performance to your liking. The pre-installed 0.15ohm coil is built for maximum vapour and warmth at higher wattages, while the spare 0.3ohm coil lets you tone things down for a cooler, more restricted sub-ohm vape. It is worth trying both to see which wattage range gives you your perfect sweet spot.

Twist-to-Fill, No Fuss

Unscrew the top cap to reveal the wide fill ports, add your e-liquid, and twist it back into place. It keeps everything tightly sealed without the risk of loose sliding mechanism leaks. It is one of the cleaner fill systems on the market, and it becomes second nature after the first couple of refills.

Airflow You Can Actually Feel the Difference In

The adjustable airflow control has a real range to it. Closed down, the draw tightens and flavour intensifies. Opened up, vapour production increases noticeably. Because the airflow intakes are at the top of the tank rather than the bottom, it is virtually leak-proof, keeping your mod dry.

How to Set Up the Aspire Huracan Sub-Ohm Tank

Quick swap and refill process. A few minutes from unboxing to first draw.

  1. Attach the tank to your mod by aligning the 510 connection and screwing down until snug.

  2. Twist the top cap open to expose the fill ports.

  3. Add e-liquid, keeping clear of the central airflow tube, and fill to just below the max line.

  4. Twist the top cap back on firmly to seal the tank before firing.

  5. Let the coil sit for around five minutes before your first draw, giving the mesh time to fully saturate.

  6. Adjust the top airflow ring to your preferred draw, then start vaping at the coil's recommended wattage and increase gradually.

What's in the Aspire Huracan Sub-Ohm Tank Box

One Huracan tank with a BP Meshed coil pre-installed, a second BP Meshed coil for an alternate wattage range, a spare glass tube, a pack of O-rings, and a user manual. No mod, no e-liquid, no charger included.

Built for 510 Mods, Pure DTL Vaping

The Huracan connects via standard 510 threading, so it fits the overwhelming majority of regulated box mods on the market. It is built strictly for Direct-to-Lung (DTL) Vaping, running beautifully at higher wattages depending on which included coil you have fitted. It is not designed for mechanical mods or low-powered pod devices, and running it well outside the coil's rated range will shorten coil life quickly.

If you already run other Aspire Coils and want something that shares the same broader ecosystem, the Huracan is a natural fit.

About Aspire

Aspire has been a fixture in UK vaping hardware for years, known for building tanks that prioritise reliable performance over gimmicks. The BP Meshed coil platform used in the Huracan has already proven itself across several other Aspire Tanks, and the Huracan applies that same coil technology to a genuinely compact sub-ohm design.

It reflects Aspire's broader approach: solid engineering, dependable coils, and hardware built to be repaired and refilled rather than replaced.

Stock Up and Save

Mesh coils on sub-ohm tanks tend to wear faster than MTL coils simply because they run at higher wattage more of the time. Picking up a spare pack alongside the tank means flavour stays sharp instead of fading out mid-week.

Every order from Pirate Vapes ships the same day before 4pm, with a fully age-verified checkout throughout. All stock is TPD compliant and restricted to over-18s only. Spend over £25 and delivery is free with Free Pirate Post.

Conclusion

The Huracan gives you genuine sub-ohm performance in a tank that does not overwhelm your mod. The BP Meshed coils handle high-wattage vaping convincingly, and the top-fill system keeps things clean.

If you want a tank that delivers excellent flavor without leaking all over your mod, the Huracan is worth a look. Browse the full Vape Tanks range, pick up spare vape coils, and check everything else out at Pirate Vapes.

FAQs

Is the Huracan suitable for beginners?

It is best suited for vapers who are already comfortable with sub-ohm setups, high-wattage vaping, and thick, high-VG e-liquids. It isn't ideal as a first-ever vape kit.

Can I use nic salts in this tank?

Definitely not recommended. The BP Meshed coils push a lot of power (up to 80W). Vaping high-strength nic salts at those wattages will deliver far too much nicotine at once and feel incredibly harsh on your throat. Stick to freebase high-VG shortfills.

How do I adjust the draw?

You can tune the vape by rotating the airflow control ring at the top of the tank. Closing it down slightly will give you a warmer, more restricted DTL draw, while opening it up wide gives you maximum airflow and huge clouds.

How often do the coils need replacing?

Typically every one to two weeks with regular use, depending on how often you vape and which e-liquid you run.

What mods is this tank compatible with?

Any device with a standard 510 connection and variable wattage control suited to sub-ohm coils.
