Aspire Nautilus 2 Tank Features

BVC Coil Technology

BVC stands for Bottom Vertical Coil. The coil sits vertically inside the tank with the wicking ports at the base, drawing e-liquid upward through the cotton. This vertical orientation produces a more consistent draw and more even heat distribution than horizontal coil designs. The BVC coils are screw-in, which makes changing them quick and clean.

Bottom Adjustable Airflow

The airflow control ring sits at the base of the tank. Rotate it to open or close the airflow. Fully closed gives a very tight, cigarette-like draw. Open it up for a slightly looser MTL inhale. The ring clicks into position and holds, so it does not shift during use or in your pocket.

Top Fill System

Unscrew the top cap to access the fill port. The opening is wide enough for most standard e-liquid bottle nozzles. Fill around the central chimney, screw the cap back on, and the tank is sealed. Straightforward and clean.

What E-Liquid to Use

The Nautilus 2 is an MTL tank. It works best with 50/50 VG/PG E-Liquids or higher-PG blends. Nic salts work well with both included coils, up to 20mg. For the 1.8Ω coil, higher-PG liquids at higher nicotine strengths (up to 18mg freebase or 20mg nic salt) give a cigarette-like experience. For the 0.7Ω coil, 50/50 or slightly higher-VG blends at 6 to 12mg freebase work well.

How to Set Up the Aspire Nautilus 2

1. Unscrew the outer metal sleeve from the base hardware to expose the inner glass and coil deck.

2. Screw your preferred Nautilus BVC coil (0.7Ω or 1.8Ω) clockwise directly into the threaded base until snug.

3. Drip 2–3 drops of 50/50 e-liquid or nic salt straight into the top center opening of the coil.

4. Pour your e-liquid into the Pyrex glass cup, ensuring you keep the fluid level just below the top threads of the central chimney.

5. Place the outer metal sleeve back over the glass, screw it down firmly to the base, and thread the tank onto your mod's 510 pin.

6. Let the tank stand so the vertical BVC cotton core can fully pull in and absorb the liquid.

7. Adjust your device to 10–14W (for the 1.8Ω coil) or 18–23W (for the 0.7Ω coil), rotate the bottom ring to select your airflow holes, and enjoy.
