DotMod DotCoil Replacement Coils - 0.15 Ohm is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DotMod DotCoil Replacement Coils
Full brass construction and a single mesh strip, built to run cleaner and leak less. The DotMod DotCoil replacement coils are the genuine heads for DotMod's atomiser range, using an SS316L mesh build inside a brass body for even heat, sharp flavour, and a longer working life. Upgraded cotton wicks fast and expand to seal the ports, which cuts the leaking you get from lesser coils when a device sits upright.
Available across three resistances to cover MTL through to full DTL, and sold in a pack of 5, they push straight in with no fuss. Browse the wider Vape Coils range at Pirate Vapes. Over 18s only.
Why vapers choose these:
-
Full brass and single mesh give even heat and consistent flavour that holds up well past the point where cheaper coils fade.
-
Fast-wicking cotton keeps up with the mesh and helps seal against leaks, even with the device stored upright.
-
Three resistances cover everything from a tight MTL pull to full DTL clouds.
-
Wide DotMod compatibility means one coil line serves several devices in the range.
-
A pack of five keeps spares at home and one in your bag, since coils are a weekly consumable with daily use.
DotCoil Features
Full Brass Housing for Better Heat Transfer
DotMod builds these coils around a full brass housing rather than plated steel. Brass transfers heat evenly and holds up to repeated heat cycles, which is part of why these coils tend to last longer than budget alternatives. It is a small material choice that shows in the flavour consistency and the working life of each head.
SS316L Mesh for Consistent Flavour
Inside sits a single SS316L mesh strip. Mesh spreads heat across a wider surface than old wound wire, so it ramps up quickly and burns evenly across the cotton beneath. The result is richer, more accurate flavour and fewer hot spots, whether you are running a high-VG shortfill or a 50/50 salt.
Upgraded Cotton for Better Wicking
The upgraded cotton here wicks fast and expands to fill the coil, which helps keep liquid where it belongs. If you have ever had a DotAIO weep from the airflow while it sat on a desk, this is the part that addresses it. Faster saturation also means less chance of a dry hit when you refill and vape straight away.
Three Resistances for Different Draw Styles
The resistance you pick sets the character of the vape. The 0.15 ohm is the cloud coil, a high-wattage DTL head for big vapour and High VG E-Liquid. The 0.3 ohm sits in restricted DTL for a warm, flavourful middle ground. The 0.7 ohm tightens right up for an MTL draw that suits Nic Salts. One coil family, three very different experiences.
Quick Push-Fit Coil Replacement
Swapping is quick. The coils press into the base of the atomiser and pull back out, so there is no threading to cross and no tools needed. It makes a mid-session change painless, and getting the old one out and a fresh one seated takes well under a minute.
DotCoil Resistance Options
Three options, each suited to a different draw and e-liquid. The choice comes down to how much vapour you want and how tight you like the pull.
Most versatile: The 0.3 ohm, run at roughly 25 to 40W. It sits in restricted direct-lung territory with strong flavour and sensible liquid use, which makes it the natural all-rounder and a good place to start. It pairs well with 50/50 blends or a 70/30 Shortfill.
For clouds: The 0.15 ohm, run at around 70 to 90W. This is the warmest, most vapour-heavy coil in the set, built for DTL vaping with high-VG liquid. It drinks liquid and battery faster than the rest. Note it is not compatible with the dotStick Revo or dotPod Max.
For MTL: The 0.7 ohm, run at 14 to 20W. The tightest coil here, giving a cooler, more restricted mouth-to-lung draw that works best with 50/50 freebase or nic salts and higher nicotine strengths.

How to Set Up the DotCoils
A quick push-fit swap, most of the time spent soaking.
-
Empty the tank or pod and remove it from your device before you start.
-
Pull the old coil straight out of the base. Remove the reusable airflow control ring/base attached to the bottom of the old coil; do not throw this away!
-
Prime the new coil by dripping a few drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton on the side ports, and place a couple of drops directly down the top centre hole onto the mesh element itself.
-
Attach the airflow control ring to the base of the new coil.
-
Push the fully assembled coil back into the tank/pod base until it seats firmly, then fill with your e-liquid.
-
Stand the tank upright and give it ten minutes so the brass coil's cotton soaks right through. On the low-resistance 0.15 ohm especially, firing it dry will scorch the cotton straight away.
-
Start at the low end of the coil's wattage band and build up until the draw tastes right.
What's in the DotCoil Box
Five DotCoils in your chosen resistance. No device, tank, or e-liquid is included. Just the genuine coils, ready to push into a DotMod atomiser you already own.
Compatible DotMod Devices
The DotCoils are built for DotMod's atomiser range and carry wide cross-compatibility. They fit the dotAIO V2, dotAIO V2 Lite, dotTank 25mm, dotStick Revo and Revo V1.5, dotAIO Tank V3, dotTank Max, dotAMP, dotApollo, and dotAIO V3.
Two things to check before you order. The 0.15 ohm coil is not compatible with the dotStick Revo, the Revo V1.5, or the dotPod Max, as those devices do not run high enough for it. And none of the DotCoils fit the original first-generation dotAIO, which uses a different coil. If your device is a DotAIO V2 or later, or a DotTank, you are in the right place. Pair the range with the right E-Liquids for each coil, and you are set.
About DotMod
DotMod is a US brand with a reputation built on premium, boutique-grade hardware. The dotAIO in particular earned a loyal following for its metal build and clean flavour, and it became one of the most recognisable all-in-one devices around. The DotCoil range is designed to keep that hardware performing as intended.
Genuine brass mesh coils, tuned for the devices they sit in, are the difference between a DotAIO that tastes the way it should and one that never quite delivers. For DotMod owners, sticking with authentic DotCoils is the sensible call.
Stock Up and Save
Genuine DotCoils are built to last, with the brass body and upgraded cotton doing the work, so a pack of five goes a long way at daily use. Buying authentic also matters here, since counterfeit coils are common with popular brands and rarely match the flavour or lifespan.
A five-pack keeps you covered for weeks and means a worn coil never stops play. Every order from Pirate Vapes ships same day when placed before 4 pm, with age-verified checkout and over 18s only. Browse more Multi-Buy Deals while you are here.
Conclusion
The DotMod DotCoil replacement coils are the straightforward way to keep a DotAIO or DotTank tasting its best. Full brass, single SS316L mesh, and fast-wicking cotton make for even flavour, fewer leaks, and a longer life, while three resistances cover MTL through to full DTL.

FAQs
How many DotCoil coils are in a pack?
Five, all in your chosen resistance. At daily use, each one lasts roughly a week or two, so a pack covers most vapers for a month or more.
Which DotCoil resistance should I pick?
For clouds and a DTL draw, the 0.15 ohm. For a balanced restricted DTL, the 0.3 ohm. For a tight MTL draw with nic salts, the 0.7 ohm.
What devices do DotCoil coils fit?
The DotMod DotAIO V2, V2 Lite, DotTank 25mm, dotStick Revo and Revo V1.5, DotAIO Tank V3, DotTank Max, dotAMP, dotApollo, and DotAIO V3. They do not fit the original first-generation DotAIO.
Why can't I use the DotCoil 0.15 ohm in my dotStick Revo?
The 0.15 ohm needs more power than the dotStick Revo, Revo V1.5, or dotPod Max can supply, so it is not compatible with those devices. Use the 0.3 ohm or 0.7 ohm instead.
What e-liquid works best with DotCoil coils?
High-VG shortfills for the 0.15 ohm, 50/50 or a shortfill for the 0.3 ohm, and 50/50 freebase or nic salts for the 0.7 ohm.
How long does a DotCoil coil last?
Around one to two weeks with regular daily use. Sweeter, darker liquids gunk the mesh faster and will shorten that.
