SS904L Coil Range

Four coil options in the Crown IV family. The 0.4Ω and 0.2Ω Dual SS904L ship in the box. SS904L offers improved corrosion resistance compared to SS316L, so coils are designed for a longer service life and flavour stays cleaner over time. The 0.25Ω UN1 and 0.23Ω UN2 Double Helix Mesh coils are sold separately from our Vape Coil range. The Double Helix Mesh coil provides greater surface area for more even heating and enhanced flavour.

How to Set Up the Uwell Crown IV Sub-Ohm Tank

1. Remove the pre-installed 0.4Ω coil from its packaging seal, or open the spare 0.2Ω coil if you want higher wattage.

2. Push the coil firmly into place in the base of the tank. No threading needed. The plug-and-pull system does the work.

3. Prime the coil by dropping e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton through the juice ports. Three to four drops per port is enough.

4. Push down on the top cap and twist 90 degrees counter-clockwise to unlock the fill section.

5. Fill through either of the dual ports. Do not pour liquid into the centre airflow hole. Leave a small gap at the top.

6. Twist the top cap back 90 degrees clockwise to lock it. You will feel it stop.

7. Stand the tank upright for five to ten minutes. Let the cotton soak fully before you fire it. Skipping this step is the fastest way to burn out a fresh coil.

8. Screw the tank onto your mod's 510 connection and set the wattage to the range printed on your coil.

9. Start at the lower end of the wattage range and work up to taste.

Can I use nic salts in this?

Not a great idea. Sub-ohm tanks push a lot of vapour and throat hit. Running nic salts at 10mg or 20mg through a sub-ohm coil is going to be far too harsh for most people. Stick to 3mg or 6mg freebase.

How do I reduce condensation?

The self-cleaning system handles most of it internally. Beyond that, close the airflow when you are filling the tank, make sure the top cap is locked after filling, and do not overfill past the max line.

How often should I replace the coil?

Most users go through a coil every one to two weeks, depending on their e-liquid, wattage, and usage. When the flavour goes flat or slightly papery, swap it.

Does the UK version come with bubble glass?

No. The UK TPD version ships with a straight 2ml glass and one spare. Bubble glass tanks designed for the US market hold 5ml or 6ml and are not TPD-compliant for UK sale.
