Uwell Valyrian 3 Sub-Ohm Atomiser Tank

Slimmer than its predecessor, tougher glass, and backward compatible with Valyrian II coils. The Valyrian 3 is a 27.3mm sub-ohm tank holding 2ml under UK TPD, built with PMMA glass instead of Pyrex for better shatter resistance. Two new mesh coils ship in the box: a 0.32ohm stainless steel at 80-85W and a 0.14ohm kanthal at 80-90W.

It also accepts the older Valyrian II 0.15ohm and 0.16ohm heads, giving you four coil options from a single tank. 510 threaded, button-press flip cap for filling, and a redesigned airflow system with a rotating piston dial at the base.

Why vapers choose this:

  • PMMA glass is significantly more shatter-resistant than Pyrex, which matters on a tank that sits on top of high-wattage mods and gets knocked around

  • Backward compatibility with Valyrian II coils means you are not starting from scratch if you already own spare 0.15ohm or 0.16ohm heads

  • 27.3mm diameter is noticeably narrower than the V2 Pro's 32mm, so it sits flush on a wider range of Vape Mods without overhang

  • Button-press flip cap is one-touch access to the fill port, faster than the hinged design on the previous generation

  • Rotating piston airflow is a redesign from the standard ring system, giving smoother adjustment with less air turbulence

Uwell Valyrian 3 Sub-Ohm Atomiser Tank Features

PMMA Over Pyrex

Pyrex glass works, but it cracks when it hits a hard surface. PMMA is the same material used in safety glasses and industrial screens. It absorbs impact rather than shattering, which means a drop that would crack a Pyrex tank usually leaves PMMA undamaged. Uwell made this switch between the V2 Pro and the V3, and it is a practical upgrade for anyone who carries their Vape Tank daily.

Four Coils, One Platform

The tank ships with two new mesh coils: 0.32ohm stainless steel at 80-85W and 0.14ohm kanthal at 80-90W. But it also takes the Valyrian II's 0.15ohm and 0.16ohm coils. That gives you four resistance options across two generations of the Valyrian platform. If you have been using a V2 Pro and have a stash of spare coils, they work here too.

Piston Airflow Is a Different Feel

Most sub-ohm tanks adjust airflow with a rotating ring that covers or uncovers slots. The Valyrian 3 uses an internal piston instead. The dial at the base moves a piston up or down inside the tank, changing airflow volume without relying on external slots. The draw feels smoother as a result, and the adjustment is more precise than a conventional ring system.

PRO-FOCS Carried Forward

Uwell kept the PRO-FOCS flavour technology from the V2 Pro. The coil housing and vapour path are shaped to maximise how much flavour reaches you at high wattage. If the V2 Pro's flavour impressed you, expect the same standard here. The technology has not changed, just the tank around it.

Button-Press Cap Is Faster

The V2 Pro used a hinged flip cap. The V3 uses a button-press mechanism instead. Push the button, the cap pops open, fill through the port, push it closed. It is faster, and the button gives more positive feedback than a hinge. Small improvement, but you notice it after the third or fourth refill of the day.

How to Set Up the Uwell Valyrian 3 Sub-Ohm Atomiser Tank

  1. Unscrew the tank base and thread one of the included mesh coils into the base section. Finger-tight only.

  2. Prime the coil with four to five drops of e-liquid through the wicking ports and the top.

  3. Reassemble the tank and attach it to your mod via the 510 thread.

  4. Press the flip cap button on top to open the fill port. Fill with High VG Freebase Liquid.

  5. Close the cap and let the tank stand upright for five to ten minutes so the mesh fully saturates.

  6. Start at the low end of the coil's wattage range and work up over your first few draws.

What's in the Uwell Valyrian 3 Sub-Ohm Atomiser Tank Box

  • One Valyrian 3 tank in your selected colour.

  • One 0.32ohm stainless steel mesh coil (80-85W).

  • One 0.14ohm kanthal mesh coil (80-90W).

  • And a user manual.

No spare glass is included with this version.

Works with Any 510 Mod and the Entire Valyrian Coil Family

The Valyrian 3 uses standard 510 threading and needs a mod that reaches at least 80W to drive the included coils. At 27.3mm diameter, it fits comfortably on most mid-range and full-size vape mods without overhang.

The tank runs on its own two new coils plus the Valyrian II 0.15ohm and 0.16ohm heads. That is four coil options in total. Other Uwell Coil platforms (Caliburn, Crown) will not fit. Only Valyrian-series coils work here.

About Uwell

The Valyrian series is where Uwell pushes its sub-ohm engineering furthest. The original Valyrian established the coil platform. The V2 Pro added PRO-FOCS and self-cleaning technology. And the Valyrian 3 refines the physical design: slimmer body, stronger glass, redesigned airflow, and backward compatibility that lets existing Uwell users upgrade without wasting their coil stock.

Three generations of iterative improvement, each one keeping the coil platform intact while improving everything around it. That kind of continuity is rare in sub-ohm tanks.

Stock Up and Save

Two coils in the box, but at 80-90W they will not last more than a couple of weeks. Adding a pack of Valyrian 3 replacement coils to your order means you are set for a proper month of daily vaping.

Every order from Pirate Vapes ships same day before 4pm in protective packaging. All products TPD compliant, age-verified checkout, over-18s only. Free Pirate Post on orders over £25.

Conclusion

The Valyrian 3 takes what worked on the V2 Pro and trims it down: smaller diameter, shatter-resistant PMMA glass, button-press filling, piston airflow, and backward compatibility with existing Valyrian II coils.

If you already own a Valyrian II setup, the upgrade path is clean. If you are coming in fresh, you get a well-engineered sub-ohm tank with four coil options and strong flavour from the PRO-FOCS system. Browse the full range of Vape Accessories at Pirate Vapes.

FAQs

Does this tank take Valyrian II coils?

Yes. The 3 is backward compatible with the Valyrian II 0.15ohm and 0.16ohm coils alongside its own two new coil heads.

What wattage mod do I need?

80W minimum. The 0.32ohm coil runs at 80-85W and the 0.14ohm at 80-90W. A single-battery mod that reaches 80W is enough. Dual-battery gives more headroom.

Is the glass Pyrex or PMMA?

PMMA. More impact-resistant than Pyrex. Less likely to shatter if you drop the tank.

How do I refill the tank?

Press the button on the top cap. The cap pops open. Fill through the exposed port. Push it closed.

What e-liquid works best?

High VG at 70/30 or above, freebase nicotine at 3mg. These coils run at 80W and up. Not suited to nic salts or thin 50/50 blends.

Is a spare glass included?

No. The Valyrian 3 box does not include a replacement glass. If you want a spare on hand, it would need to be ordered separately.
