Vaporesso Luxe X / Pro Coils

Six resistance options from one coil listing. The GTX mesh coils slot into any XR-format pod across the Luxe range, covering three devices and three draw styles. 0.2 ohm for cloud at 45W. 1.2 ohm for tight MTL at 7W.

Everything in between covered. Five coils per pack, mesh builds throughout, organic cotton wicking, and Vaporesso's in-house coil technology that gets more out of the mesh surface than standard designs. Pull the old coil out, drop the new one in. Over 18s only.

Why vapers choose this:

  • Six resistance options covering MTL at 7W through DTL at 60W. One pack format, one listing, one purchase.

  • Five coils per pack at £9.99. Competitive on price against most GTX-compatible options in UK retail.

  • Fits three devices in the Luxe range through XR-format pods. One coil stock covers all of them.

  • Mesh builds with organic cotton that hold flavour consistently for a week or more at moderate wattage

  • Swappable coil design in XR pods. Pull, replace, done. No pod wasted.

Vaporesso Luxe X / Pro Coils Features

Six Resistances Is a Lot for One Coil Platform

Most coil ranges offer three, maybe four options. The GTX platform gives you six. That spread matters because it means you can genuinely experiment with draw style without switching devices. Start with the 0.8 ohm for MTL, realise you want something looser, try the 0.4 ohm at 30W. Still not enough air? Drop to the 0.3 ohm. The device handles the transition. Your coil stock handles the rest. Very few pod kit coil platforms give you this much room to move.

The 1.2 Ohm Coil Runs at 7 to 11W and That Is Barely Sipping Power

At 7W, the Luxe X battery barely notices the draw. The 1.2 ohm GTX coil produces a tight, cool MTL pull that feels closer to a cigarette than most pod coils manage. Minimal vapour, minimal liquid use, maximum battery stretch. If you run 20mg Nic Salts and want the throat hit without the cloud, this is the coil. Most vapers overlook it because 1.2 ohm sounds old-fashioned. It is not. It is efficient.

The 0.2 Ohm Coil Turns the Luxe X Into a Cloud Device

At 45 to 60W through the 0.2 ohm GTX mesh, the Luxe X produces DTL vapour that surprises people who think pod kits cannot do clouds. Mesh at this resistance heats fast and covers a wide surface area, which means dense, warm vapour on every draw. Use 70/30 Shortfills at 3 to 6mg freebase. Not nic salts. The wattage is too high for salt at 20mg. Your throat will tell you immediately.

Organic Cotton That Does Not Degrade After Three Days

Cheap coils use cheap cotton. By day three, the flavour shifts, gets a bit muted, picks up a background sweetness that was not in the liquid. The GTX coils use organic cotton wrapped tight around the mesh, and at moderate wattage they hold flavour accuracy for a week or longer. Heavily sweetened liquids will shorten that. Clean fruit profiles and mint will extend it. Either way, the organic cotton outlasts the generic wicking in most competing coils.

You Only Replace the Coil, Not the Entire Pod

These GTX coils go into XR-format pods, which are the pods where the coil is separate from the pod shell. Pull the spent coil out from the base, push a fresh one in. The pod stays. The liquid stays. You are only replacing the part that actually wears out. Compare that to the standard sealed pods where you bin the whole unit every time the coil degrades. Over a few months, the per-coil cost is noticeably lower.

Vaporesso Luxe X / Pro Coils Coil Options

Six GTX mesh coils. Same physical fit, different resistance and wattage range. Choose based on your draw style and liquid.

  • 0.2 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 45 to 60W: Full DTL. Dense clouds, warm vapour. For 70/30 shortfills at 3 to 6mg. The cloud coil.

  • 0.3 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 32 to 45W: RDTL leaning toward DTL. Solid middle ground if 60W feels excessive.

  • 0.4 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 26 to 32W: RDTL. Balanced flavour and vapour. A comfortable daily driver for many vapers.

  • 0.6 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 20 to 30W: Loose MTL or tight RDTL. The crossover point between the two draw styles.

  • 0.8 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 8 to 12W: MTL. Pairs with 10mg or 20mg nic salts. Tight draw, low power, good coil life.

  • 1.2 ohm GTX Mesh, best at 7 to 11W: Tightest MTL. Minimal vapour, minimal liquid use. The cigarette-feel coil.

How to Set Up the Vaporesso Luxe X / Pro Coils

  1. Remove the XR pod from your Luxe X, Luxe X Pro, or Luxe XR device.

  2. Pull the spent coil out from the base of the pod. It slides straight out.

  3. Prime the new coil. Put three or four drops of your e-liquid onto the cotton visible through the mesh openings on the coil's side. This pre-saturates the organic cotton before first use.

  4. Push the new coil into the pod base until it seats firmly.

  5. Reassemble and wait. Click the pod back into the device, top up the liquid if needed, and leave it standing for five minutes. The mesh cotton needs to absorb fully before you draw. Rushing it scorches the cotton. One bad first draw and the coil tastes burnt for its entire lifespan.

What's in the Vaporesso Luxe X / Pro Coils Box

Five identical GTX mesh coils in your chosen resistance. Sealed Vaporesso packaging. No pod, no device, no liquid. You need an XR-format pod and a compatible device to use them. Browse the Vaporesso Pod Range if you need XR pods.

The Right Coil for Every Vaporesso Luxe X Device

These GTX coils go into any Vaporesso device that runs the Luxe platform with XR-format pods (the kind where the coil unscrews from the base). That covers three kits in the current range. They do not fit the sealed pods where the coil is permanently installed. Check that your pod has a removable coil base before ordering.

The GTX coil platform also extends to other Vaporesso devices beyond the Luxe range. Any Vaporesso kit that accepts GTX coils will run these. Browse the full Vaporesso Range to check compatibility.

E-liquid pairing by resistance: 0.8 and 1.2 ohm work with 50/50 nic salts at 10 to 20mg. 0.4 and 0.6 ohm suit 50/50 at 10mg or freebase at 6mg. 0.2 and 0.3 ohm need 70/30 high-VG at 3 to 6mg freebase. Do not run 20mg nic salt through anything below 0.6 ohm.

FAQs

Which devices do these GTX coils fit?

The Luxe X, Luxe X Pro, and Luxe XR in XR-format pods with removable coils. They do not fit the sealed Luxe X pods. The GTX platform also works in other Vaporesso devices.

Which coil is best for nic salts?

0.8 ohm at 8 to 12W or 1.2 ohm at 7 to 11W. Both are MTL. Use 50/50 VG/PG at 10 or 20mg. Do not use nic salts above 6mg in anything below 0.6 ohm.

How long do GTX coils last?

A week or more at moderate wattage with clean liquids. Heavily sweetened e-liquids shorten coil life. The organic cotton holds flavour longer than cheaper alternatives.

Can I use these in sealed Luxe X pods?

No. Sealed pods have permanently installed coils. These GTX coils only fit XR pods with a removable coil base.

What is the difference between 0.2 ohm and 1.2 ohm?

Wattage, draw style, and vapour. The 0.2 ohm runs at 45 to 60W for DTL clouds. The 1.2 ohm runs at 7 to 11W for tight MTL with minimal vapour. Completely different vaping experiences from the same platform.
