How to Fit the Aquila Coils

A quick job, then let it soak. Never fire a dry sub-ohm coil.

1. Empty the tank and unscrew the base from the glass.

2. Pull the old coil straight out. It is press-fit, so it lifts away without unscrewing.

3. Drip a few drops of liquid directly into the wicking ports on the new coil until the cotton darkens, then push it firmly into the base.

4. Reassemble and fill with a thick high-VG blend, such as a 70/30 shortfill.

5. Stand it upright for ten to fifteen minutes so the bamboo cotton completely saturates.

6. Take two or three gentle "primer puffs" (inhaling on the mouthpiece without pressing the fire button) to help pull the thick liquid into the cotton.

7. Start low and climb. Begin around 55W and work up towards 70W until the draw feels right.
