Vaporesso GT Core Coils

Nine coil options across one range, covering everything from a 15W ceramic draw to an 110W eight-core cloud machine. The Vaporesso GT Core series fits the NRG, Cascade, and SKRR tank families, with resistances from 0.15Ω to 0.5Ω and coil builds spanning traditional cotton, mesh, and ceramic.

Three per pack, sub-ohm, DTL, designed for High-VG Shortfills. Pick the coil that matches how you vape, thread it in, and the tank is back in action. Pirate Vapes ships them tracked with age-verified UK delivery.

Why do vapers choose this:

  • Nine coil options in one compatible range. From a 15W ceramic draw to an 110W eight-core sub-ohm hit, the GT Core series covers more ground than most coil families on the market.

  • Genuine Vaporesso coils. Not third-party copies that leak, spit, or burn out within days.

  • Mesh, traditional, and ceramic builds in one range. You do not need to switch tanks to try a different vaping style. Same tank, different coil, different experience.

  • Fits across multiple tank families. The NRG, Cascade, and SKRR tanks all use GT Core coils, which means one coil range covers a large portion of the Vaporesso sub-ohm catalogue.

  • Three per pack. Enough for two to six weeks of regular use, depending on which coil you run and how heavily you vape.

Coil Options at a Glance

Nine coils in the GT Core range. The difference is the coil build, the resistance, and the wattage. More surface area and lower resistance mean more vapour, more e-liquid consumed, and more battery drawn. Pick based on how much power your mod can deliver and whether you want flavour density or cloud volume.

The GT Mesh at 0.18Ω is the most popular option in the range for balanced flavour and cloud production. The GT CCELL at 0.5Ω is the outlier: ceramic wicking, lower wattage, cleaner flavour over a longer lifespan, and a noticeably cooler draw. The GT8 at 0.15Ω is the cloud chaser's pick, running at up to 110W with eight coil cores for maximum vapour output.

Vaporesso GT Core Coils Features

Mesh Coils: GT Mesh and GT4 Meshed

The GT Mesh (0.18Ω, 50 to 85W) and GT4 Meshed (0.15Ω, 50 to 75W) use a mesh heating element instead of traditional wound wire. Mesh spreads heat more evenly across a larger surface area, which means faster ramp-up, more consistent flavour from draw to draw, and denser vapour at moderate wattages. The GT Mesh is the go-to for vapers who want both cloud and flavour without pushing the wattage past 85W. The GT4 Meshed runs at slightly lower power with a similar profile.

Ceramic CCELL Coils: GT CCELL and GT CCELL 2

The GT CCELL (0.5Ω, 15 to 40W) and GT CCELL 2 (0.3Ω SS316L, 35 to 40W) use a ceramic wicking element instead of cotton. Ceramic absorbs e-liquid differently: it holds liquid in porous channels rather than fibres, which means a purer flavour with no cotton taste and a longer coil life. The trade-off is lower vapour production compared to mesh or multi-core coils. If you value clean, accurate flavour reproduction and do not need big clouds, the CCELL is the best option in the GT Core range.

Multi-Core Coils: GT4, GT6, GT8

The GT4 (0.15Ω, 30 to 70W), GT6 (0.2Ω, 40 to 100W), and GT8 (0.15Ω, 60 to 110W) use multiple parallel coil cores wrapped in cotton. More cores mean more heating surface, which translates to more vapour at higher wattages. The GT8 is the heaviest hitter in the range and will drink e-liquid and battery life accordingly. The GT4 CLP sits at the lower end, offering good flavour at moderate power without the juice consumption of the GT6 or GT8.

What E-Liquid to Use

High VG. 70/30 or thicker. The GT Core coils are sub-ohm DTL coils running at 15W and above, and the mesh, multi-core, and most traditional variants want thick shortfill e-liquids. Fruits, desserts, menthols, bakery profiles: whatever you prefer, keep the VG high.

Do not put nic salts or thin 50/50 liquids through the higher-wattage coils. They will flood the tank and spit. The GT CCELL at 0.5Ω is the one exception that can handle slightly thinner liquids at its low wattage, but high VG still performs best. Browse our E-Liquid Range at Pirate Vapes for shortfills that pair well with sub-ohm tanks.

How to Replace Your Vaporesso GT Core Coil

  1. Unscrew the base of the tank from the glass section.

  2. Unthread the old coil from the base and bin it.

  3. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton or mesh visible through the ports on the new coil. That is priming.

  4. Thread the new coil into the base until finger-tight.

  5. Reassemble the tank, fill with high-VG e-liquid, and let it stand for five to ten minutes before vaping.

Prime it. Soak it. Skip that step, and the cotton burns on the first draw.

What’s in the Box

3 x Vaporesso GT Core coils in your chosen variant. No e-liquid, no tank, no device.

Compatible Tanks and Kits

The GT Core coils fit a wide range of Vaporesso tanks and kits. Confirmed compatibility includes the NRG Tank (and NRG SE/NRG Mini), the Cascade Tank, Cascade Baby Tank, Cascade Mini Tank, Cascade One and One Plus, and the SKRR and SKRR S tanks. Kits that ship with these tanks and therefore use GT Core coils include the Revenger series, the Switcher, the SWAG, the Polar 220W, and the Armour Pro.

If you have a different Vaporesso tank, check the coil type before ordering. Not all Vaporesso Coils are cross-compatible. You will find the tanks and these coils together in our Vaporesso Range at Pirate Vapes.

About Vaporesso

Vaporesso is one of the most established names in UK vaping, known for the XROS, Luxe, and Target lines alongside the NRG and Cascade sub-ohm tanks. The GT Core coil series has been in production for years and remains one of the widest coil families available from any single brand.

Nine coil options across mesh, ceramic, and multi-core builds, all sharing the same thread pattern, mean you can change your vaping style without changing your tank. That kind of flexibility is why the GT Core range stays in demand long after the individual kits have cycled through retail.

Stock Up and Save

Three coils per pack means you are reordering more often than with a five-pack product. Worth grabbing two packs if you go through coils quickly, especially on the GT8 or GT Mesh at higher wattages. Add a shortfill alongside them, and your order is sorted.

Pirate Vapes sends everything in plain packaging, tracked to your door, age-verified checkout, and 18+ delivery. Crew Rewards points go on every order. If you want coils arriving automatically, The Crow’s Nest at Pirate Vapes handles that with a saving.

Conclusion

The Vaporesso GT Core coils are sub-ohm replacements for the NRG, Cascade, and SKRR tank families. Nine options from a 15W ceramic CCELL to a 110W eight-core cloud coil. Mesh, traditional cotton, and ceramic builds.

Three per pack, all DTL, all built for high-VG shortfills. Pick the coil that matches your wattage and your priorities: flavour, cloud, or a balance of both. Grab a pack from Pirate Vapes with tracked, age-verified UK delivery.

FAQs

Which tanks do these fit?

The Vaporesso NRG Tank (all variants), Cascade Tank, Cascade Baby, Cascade Mini, Cascade One and One Plus, and the SKRR and SKRR S tanks. They thread into the base. Not all Vaporesso tanks use the same coil type, so check before ordering.

How many coil options are there?

Nine. GT1, GT2, GT4 CLP, GT4 Meshed, GT6, GT8, GT Mesh, GT CCELL, and GT CCELL 2. They range from 0.15Ω to 0.5Ω.

Which coil is best for flavour?

The GT CCELL (0.5Ω) ceramic coil delivers the cleanest, purest flavour at low wattage. The GT Mesh (0.18Ω) offers strong flavour with more vapour. It depends on whether you want a cooler, purer taste or a warmer, denser draw.

Which coil is best for clouds?

The GT8 (0.15Ω) at 60 to 110W produces the most vapour. The GT Mesh (0.18Ω) at 50 to 85W offers dense clouds with better flavour retention than the GT8.

What e-liquid should I use?

High-VG shortfills. 70/30 or thicker. Do not use nic salts or thin 50/50 liquids. These are sub-ohm DTL coils.

How long does each coil last?

One to two weeks for most people. Sweet e-liquids shorten the life. The CCELL ceramic coils tend to last longer than the cotton and mesh variants. When the flavour dulls or you taste burning, swap it.

How many in a pack?

Three.

What is a CCELL coil?

A coil that uses a porous ceramic element instead of cotton for wicking. Ceramic absorbs and heats e-liquid differently, resulting in purer flavour, no cotton taste, and a longer coil life. Lower vapour output compared to mesh or multi-core coils.

Do I need to prime the coil?

Yes. Drip e-liquid onto the cotton, mesh, or ceramic ports. Fill the tank. Let it stand for five to ten minutes. Skip that, and the cotton or wick burns on the first draw.

Does Pirate Vapes stock the compatible tanks?

Yes. Vaporesso tanks and coils are both in our Vaporesso range at Pirate Vapes.
