GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils

Five coils per pack. Five resistance options at Pirate Vapes. The GeekVape Zeus Z coils are kanthal mesh DTL coil heads built for the Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank family and the kits that ship with them.

The range runs from 0.4 ohm at 50W right up to 0.15 ohm at 90W, with a dual-coil 0.25-ohm option and an SS316L variant for temperature control. All mesh. All plug-and-play installation from the base of the tank.

These coils have been the backbone of GeekVape's sub-ohm lineup since the original Zeus tank, and they fit the Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5, Z Sub-Ohm SE, Z Fli, Z Sub-Ohm, Z Fli 2, and the Aegis series kits. TPD compliant. Over 18s only.

Why vapers choose the GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils:

  • The widest compatibility of any sub-ohm coil in the GeekVape range. These coils fit the Z Sub-Ohm Tank, Z Sub-Ohm SE Tank, Z Sub-Ohm Tank 2021, Z Fli Tank, Z Fli 2 Tank, Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5, Obelisk Tank, and the P Sub-Ohm Tank. That covers almost every Zeus-series tank GeekVape has made. If you own any Aegis mod with a Zeus tank on top, these are the coils it uses.

  • Five resistances covering 45W to 90W in a single coil family. Most sub-ohm coil platforms give you two or three options. The Z series gives you five, from the lower-wattage 0.25-ohm dual coil at 45W to the full-power 0.15-ohm at 90W. That kind of range lets you genuinely tailor the vaping experience to your preferred wattage and draw style without switching tanks.

  • The SS316L variant supports temperature control. If your mod runs TC mode (Aegis Legend 2, Aegis Touch, Zeus 200), the Z0.15 SS316L coil at 60-70W gives you temperature-regulated draws. TC prevents the coil from overheating, which means no dry hits and more consistent flavour, especially when the tank is running low on liquid.

  • Kanthal mesh across the standard range delivers even, reliable flavour. Kanthal heats quickly, holds temperature well, and does not give off metallic taste notes. The mesh configuration spreads heat across a wide surface for fuller flavour extraction from your e-liquid. These are not experimental coils. They are tried-and-tested mesh heads with over 700 reviews on GeekVape's own store.

  • Plug-and-play installation from the base of the tank. Unscrew the tank base, pull the old coil out, push the new one in. The coil seats into the base with a firm push. No fine threading, no alignment issues. Screw the base back on and you are done in under a minute.

GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils [PACK OF 5] Features

Kanthal Mesh Heating Element

Kanthal wire formed into a mesh strip sits inside each Z coil (except the SS316L). Mesh heats e-liquid across a wider surface than round wire, which means more vapour per draw and more even flavour extraction. Kanthal specifically ramps up quickly and holds stable output, making it one of the most reliable coil materials for DTL vaping.

SS316L Temperature Control Option

The Z0.15 SS316L coil uses stainless steel mesh instead of kanthal. Stainless steel's resistance changes predictably with temperature, which lets TC-capable mods regulate heat in real time. The result is automatic dry hit prevention and more consistent flavour, particularly useful when chain vaping or running the tank low on liquid.

Plug-and-Play Base Installation

Every Z coil pushes into the base of the Zeus tank from below. Unscrew the base, swap the coil, screw the base back on. No delicate threading on the coil itself. The push-fit connection seats firmly and does not come loose during normal use. Coil changes take under a minute even if you are new to sub-ohm tanks.

Dual Coil Option at 0.25 ohm

The Z0.25 Dual runs two coil elements inside one coil head. At 45-57W it produces denser, richer flavour than a single-mesh coil at the same wattage because both elements heat the liquid simultaneously. If you prioritise flavour depth over maximum cloud, this is the option to try.

Wide Wattage Range: 45W to 90W

Five coils covering 45W to 90W means you can run these coils on everything from a single-battery Aegis Solo 3 at moderate power right up to a dual-battery Aegis Legend 2 at full output. The range accommodates different vaping preferences and different device capabilities within one coil family.

GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils [PACK OF 5] Resistance List

Five coil options stocked at Pirate Vapes. All DTL. All designed for high VG freebase e-liquids at 3-6mg nicotine. If you are not sure where to start, the 0.4-ohm is the most universally liked coil in the range and the one GeekVape includes in most of their starter kits.

  • Z0.4 ohm: The most popular option in the range. Balanced warmth, good clouds, strong flavour. Where most Aegis and Zeus tank owners start and often stay

  • Z0.2 ohm: Steps the power up for bigger, warmer clouds. Full DTL. Good for vapers who find the 0.4 too cool

  • Z0.15 ohm: Maximum power option. Hot, dense vapour. Drinks battery and e-liquid fastest of the range

  • Z0.15 ohm SS316L: Stainless steel mesh for temperature control mods. Runs cooler than the kanthal 0.15 at lower wattage

  • Z0.25 ohm Dual: Twin coil elements for richer flavour density at lower wattage. Good for flavour chasers over cloud chasers

How to Set Up the GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils [PACK OF 5]

  1. Unscrew the tank base. Hold the Zeus tank and twist the base section anti-clockwise until it comes free from the glass section. The old coil stays in the base.

  2. Remove the old coil. Push the used coil upward and out of the base. It may need a firm push. Discard it.

  3. Prime the new coil. Drop e-liquid onto the cotton visible through the ports on the side of the new coil. Three to four drops is enough. This saturates the mesh before installation.

  4. Push the new coil in. Place the new coil into the base from above and push it down firmly until it seats flush. The plug-and-play design guides the coil into position.

  5. Reassemble. Screw the base back onto the glass section of the tank. Finger-tight.

  6. Fill. Unscrew the top cap and fill with High VG E-Liquid (70/30 or above, freebase 3-6mg). Avoid the central airflow chimney. Fill to the line.

  7. Wait. Let the tank sit for five to ten minutes so the mesh coil fully absorbs the liquid. Mesh coils have more cotton surface area, so they need a longer soak than round-wire coils.

  8. Vape. Reattach the tank to your mod. Set the wattage to the range printed on the coil. Start at the lower end and work up.

What's in the GeekVape Zeus Z Replacement Coils [PACK OF 5] Box

Five GeekVape Zeus Z coils of the same resistance (Z0.2, Z0.4, Z0.15, Z0.15 SS316L, or Z0.25 Dual depending on which pack you order). Each coil is individually wrapped. No tanks, no mods, no e-liquid included. These are Replacement Coils only. You need a compatible Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank to use them.

The Perfect Fit for the Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank Family

The Z coil platform runs across GeekVape's entire Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank range and the Aegis series kits that ship with them. All five resistance options fit all listed tanks, with one exception: the Z0.25 Dual is not compatible with the P Sub-Ohm Tank.

Compatible Tanks: The Zeus Z Sub-Ohm Tank (original and 2021 revision), the Z Sub-Ohm SE Tank, the Z Fli Tank, the Z Fli 2 Tank, the Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5, the Obelisk Tank, and the P Sub-Ohm Tank (all coils except the Z0.25 Dual). If it is a Zeus-branded sub-ohm tank from GeekVape, these coils fit it.

Compatible Kits (these ship with a Zeus Z tank): The Aegis Legend 5, Aegis Legend 3, Aegis Legend 2 (L200), Aegis Max 2 (Max100), Aegis Solo 3 (S100), Aegis Touch (T200), and the Zeus 200 (Z200). If your Aegis kit came with a Zeus tank on top, Z coils are what it uses.

Does not fit: GeekVape Wenax pods (completely different platform), GeekVape B Series coils (different coil family for the Boost/Hero range), GeekVape G Series coils (different form factor), or any non-GeekVape tank. The Zeus Z coils are specific to Zeus Sub-Ohm Tanks.

The Z coil range has accumulated over 700 reviews on GeekVape's own store, making it one of the most feedback-tested sub-ohm coils on the market. Their focus is DTL performance with kanthal and stainless steel mesh at wattages from 45W to 90W. Browse the full Geekvape Vapes collection at Pirate Vapes.

Stock Up and Save

Five coils per pack. At one to three weeks per coil depending on wattage and e-liquid sweetness, a single pack covers roughly one to three months of daily DTL vaping. Running sweet dessert liquids at 80W burns through coils faster than fruit or tobacco at 50W, so heavy users benefit from keeping a backup pack on hand.

At Pirate Vapes, we stock all five Z coil resistances and pack every order padded to prevent damage. Every product is TPD compliant and sold through age-verified checkout. Same-day dispatch before 4pm. Free Pirate Post over £25.

Conclusion

The GeekVape Zeus Z coils are the standard replacement for anyone running a Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank on an Aegis mod or any other compatible GeekVape kit. Five resistance options from 45W to 90W cover everything from flavour-focused dual coil DTL at the low end to full-power cloud chasing at the high end.

The SS316L variant adds genuine temperature control for mods that support it. The plug-and-play installation is fast and clean. And the wide compatibility across the entire Zeus tank family means one coil platform covers years of GeekVape hardware. FAQs

Which resistance is the best starting point?

The Z0.4 ohm at 50-60W. It is the most balanced coil in the range for flavour and cloud, and it is the one GeekVape includes in most of their starter kits. Start there and move up or down based on preference.

Can I use nic salts with these coils?

Not recommended above 6mg. All five options are sub-ohm DTL coils running at 45W or above. Nic salts at 10mg or higher will be far too harsh at these wattages. Stick to high VG freebase at 3-6mg.

Does the Z0.15 SS316L work in regular wattage mode?

Yes. You can run it in standard wattage mode at 60-70W. Temperature control is optional. The SS316L material just gives you the choice if your mod supports TC.

Do these fit the GeekVape Wenax M1 or other Wenax pods?

No. The Wenax range uses its own dedicated pod and coil system. Z coils only fit Zeus Sub-Ohm Tanks.

How do I install them?

Unscrew the tank base, push the old coil out, push the new one in from above until it seats, screw the base back on. Plug-and-play, no threading on the coil itself.

Does the Z0.25 Dual fit all Zeus tanks?

All except the P Sub-Ohm Tank. Every other Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank in the range accepts the Z0.25 Dual.
