Innokin Zenith II Replacement Tank

Two coils in the box. Two drip tips. One tank that handles mouth-to-lung and restricted direct lung vaping depending on how you set it up. The Innokin Zenith II is a 26mm, 2ml top-fill tank with bottom adjustable airflow, a twist-open top cap, and compatibility with every Z Coil Innokin has ever produced.

The 0.8ohm Z Coil runs at 15 to 18W for a tight MTL draw. The 0.3ohm Z Coil runs at 30 to 40W for warmer, cloudier RDL pulls. Replaceable pyrex glass, stainless steel body, and a 510 thread that fits on practically anything.

Three finishes in the store picker at Pirate Vapes: Silver, Black, and Gunmetal. If you have been looking for a proper MTL Vape Tank that can also stretch into RDL territory without needing a second tank, this is one of the strongest options out there. Over 18s only.

Why vapers choose the Zenith II:

  • Every Z Coil Innokin makes fits this tank, not just the two in the box. That opens up resistances from 1.6ohm right down to 0.3ohm, which is a wider range than most tanks at this price point will ever give you.

  • The bottom airflow ring does genuine work across MTL and RDL positions. This is not a tank where "adjustable" means two barely different settings. Tight cigarette draw to warm, open RDL with real steps between.

  • Twist-top fill stays shut when you want it shut. Innokin added a silicone seal and tightened the cap tolerance after complaints about the original Zenith's top cap rotating on its own and catching facial hair. Sorted.

  • Cracked glass is a spare part, not a death sentence. Pop the old pyrex off, slide a new one on.

  • Two drip tips included because the draw profile changes enough between MTL and RDL that you genuinely benefit from different bore sizes.

Innokin Zenith II Features

Honestly, the Airflow Range Is the Whole Point

Plenty of tanks say they do MTL and RDL. Most of them give you a vaguely tight draw and a vaguely loose draw and call it versatility. The Zenith II actually commits. Innokin took the Zenith Pro's airflow system, refined the machining tolerances, and built a bottom ring that clicks through distinct positions from fully restricted to fully open. At the tight end, it pulls like a cigarette. At the loose end, the 0.3ohm coil at 30 to 40W pushes warm, dense vapour with real body to it. Not a gimmick. Genuinely two usable styles from one piece of hardware.

That Top Cap Fix Was Overdue

Here is the thing about the original Zenith: brilliant tank, annoying top cap. It would rotate in your pocket, catch on stubble, and occasionally pop open just enough to weep liquid onto your mod. Innokin knew about it. The Zenith II tightens the rotation tolerance and adds a silicone gasket around the fill port opening. Now the cap twists open smoothly when you actually want to refill and stays locked when you do not. Should this have happened sooner? Probably. Does it fix the problem? Completely.

Replaceable Glass Changes the Maths

Tanks break. Drop one on a tile floor and the pyrex is finished. On the original Zenith, that meant buying a whole new tank because the glass was bonded into the assembly around the auto-liquid shut-off valve. The Zenith II makes the pyrex cylinder user-removable, which means a replacement glass from the Spare Glass Section costs a fraction of what a new tank would. Keep a spare in your drawer. You will be glad you did when gravity inevitably wins.

Z Coil Compatibility Goes Deep

The two coils in the box are the starting point. The full Innokin Z Coil Range includes 0.3ohm, 0.5ohm, 0.65ohm, 0.8ohm, 1.0ohm, 1.2ohm, and 1.6ohm options. Want to run tight MTL with 20mg Nic Salts? Fit a 1.6ohm. Want warm RDL clouds with 70/30 E-Liquid at 3mg? The 0.3ohm handles it. That kind of flexibility from a single tank is rare, and Innokin has kept Z Coils in production long enough that supply is not going to be a problem anytime soon.

No More Pedestal

Small detail, but it matters visually. The original Zenith had a raised riser section between the drip tip and the tank body. Functional, yes. But it made the whole thing look taller than it needed to and made aftermarket 510 drip tips sit awkwardly high. Gone on the Zenith II. The 510 drip tip now sits flush against the top cap. Cleaner proportions. Looks like it was designed in 2026 rather than 2018. Any standard 510 mouthpiece you own will fit and look right.

How to Set Up the Innokin Zenith II

Quick process. Under two minutes if you have done it before.

  1. Unscrew the base from the glass and top cap assembly. Set the top section aside.

  2. Pick your coil. The 0.8ohm for MTL or the 0.3ohm for RDL. Press it firmly into the base until it clicks and seats flush. No threading needed. Just push.

  3. Drip four or five drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton visible through the side wicking ports. Turn the coil as you go so every port gets wet. Do not rush this step.

  4. Screw the base back onto the glass. Twist the top cap open, fill to just below the max line, and close the cap until the silicone seal compresses flat. You will feel it seat.

  5. Stand the tank upright and wait a full five minutes. Seriously. The Z Coil wicking material is dense and needs time to pull liquid through from every angle. Firing early chars the cotton and ruins the coil on the first draw.

  6. Attach to your mod. Start low: 15W for the 0.8ohm, 30W for the 0.3ohm. Work upward until the warmth and flavour hit where you want them.

What's in the Innokin Zenith II Box

  • One Zenith II tank.

  • One 0.8ohm Z Coil for MTL at 15 to 18W.

  • One 0.3ohm Z Coil for RDL at 30 to 40W.

  • A spare RDL drip tip with a wider bore than the installed MTL one.

  • A bag of spare O-rings.

  • A quick start guide.

No e-liquid. No mod. No battery. Tank only. You will need a 510-threaded regulated mod that can run between 15W and 40W, and your choice of liquid to get started.

Built for Innokin Mods, Works on Everything Else Too

Standard 510 thread. Fits any 510 mod, battery, or box device. Innokin paired it with their Coolfire Z50 and Coolfire Z80 kits, and those are solid combinations.

But it works just as well on Vaporesso, Voopoo, Geekvape, or any other 510 mod you already own. At 26mm wide, it sits flush on most mid-size box mods with no overhang.

Wattage requirements depend on which coil you install. The 0.8ohm needs 15 to 18W minimum. The 0.3ohm needs 30 to 40W.

Not suitable for mechanical mods or unregulated devices. Check out the full Innokin Range for kits that pair naturally with this tank.

About Innokin

The Z Coil is Innokin's most commercially important design decision. One coil platform that runs across the Zenith, Zenith Pro, Zenith II, Zlide, Go Z, Coolfire Mini, and half a dozen pod kits. Buy into any one of those devices, and you have access to coils that fit across the entire ecosystem.

That is not an accident. Innokin has been building hardware around long-term coil continuity since their Shenzhen manufacturing operation started in 2011, and they have stuck with it while other brands cycle through incompatible coil formats every eighteen months. The Zenith II is the latest expression of that philosophy: a better tank, the same coils. If you have Z Coils in a drawer right now, they already fit.

Stock Up and Save

Two coils in the box is a decent start, but they will not last forever. A five-pack of Z Coils alongside the tank keeps you covered for weeks and brings the per-coil price down noticeably. Keep a spare pyrex tube in the drawer while you are at it.

Every order from Pirate Vapes ships same day before 4 pm in cushioned, secure packaging. TPD compliant stock, age-verified checkout, over-18s only. Orders over £25 ship free with Free Pirate Post.

Conclusion

Tanks that genuinely do two things well are hard to find. The Zenith II manages it. Tight MTL draws from the 0.8ohm coil, warm RDL clouds from the 0.3ohm, with an airflow ring that gives you real steps between the two rather than a binary switch. Replaceable glass, improved top cap seal, and full backward compatibility with every Z Coil in the catalogue.

Innokin fixed the things that needed fixing from the original Zenith and kept everything that worked. Not a radical redesign. Just a better version of a tank that was already good. Pick one up alongside the full range of Vape Accessories at Pirate Vapes.

FAQs

What coils fit the Zenith II?

All Innokin Z Coils. Every single one. The box includes a 0.8ohm and a 0.3ohm, but the 0.5, 0.65, 1.0, 1.2, and 1.6ohm options all work too.

Can it do proper DTL?

No. RDL is the loosest it goes. If you want wide-open sub-ohm clouds, this is not the tank for that. What it does is a warmer, flavour-rich restricted draw at 30 to 40W through the 0.3ohm coil, which is enough for most people who are not chasing competitive cloud volume.

What e-liquid ratio works best?

Depends on the coil. 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg through the 0.8ohm. Freebase at 3 to 6mg in 50/50 or 70/30 through the 0.3ohm. Anything thicker than 70/30 might struggle to wick in the higher-resistance coils.

Is the glass really replaceable?

Yes. Properly removable. Twist the base off, slide the pyrex cylinder down, put a new one on. Takes about thirty seconds.

How long do Z Coils last?

Roughly one to three weeks depending on how much you vape and how sweet your liquid is. Heavy use with dessert flavours will gunk a coil faster than moderate use with a clean fruit or menthol. Not bad for the price.

Better than the original Zenith?

In every measurable way. Better airflow range, replaceable glass, fixed top cap, cleaner design. Same coils.
