Child-Proof Sliding Top Fill

Remove the mouthpiece, then slide the top cap to one side to reveal the fill port. Fill with your chosen e-liquid. Slide the cap back, replace the mouthpiece, and the top is locked. The child-proof mechanism is built into the mouthpiece lock, which means the tank will not open accidentally in a pocket or bag. It adds a couple of seconds to refilling, but it removes any risk of a child accessing the e-liquid inside.

Screw-In Coil Replacement

The coil screws into the base of the tank from below. To change it, unscrew the base, pull the old coil out, and screw the new one in. The e-liquid stays in the tank during the swap. No draining, no spills, no wasted liquid. Prime the new coil with a few drops and you are ready to vape within five minutes.

Innokin Z Coil Range

The tank ships with two coils. The 0.48Ω Plex3D mesh coil is pre-installed and works well with High-VG E-Liquids for a warmer, slightly airier restricted DTL draw. The 1.6Ω Kanthal coil is in the box for a tighter MTL hit at lower wattage, paired with 50/50 or higher-PG e-liquids. Beyond these two, the Zlide accepts the full Z coil range sold separately, including the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω options that sit between the two included coils in terms of draw and warmth.

Adjustable Airflow

The airflow control ring at the base of the tank adjusts the draw from tight MTL to a slightly more open restricted DTL. For ex-smokers, closing the airflow and using the 1.6Ω coil gives a draw that closely mimics a cigarette. Opening it up with the 0.48Ω mesh coil gives a looser, more flavourful vape with a bit more vapour.

Pyrex Glass and Compact Design

The tank section is Pyrex glass, which resists cracking from heat and is chemically inert with e-liquid ingredients. The 22mm diameter fits flush on most slim mods and pen-style devices without overhang. A spare glass section is included in the box.

What E-Liquid to Use

For the 1.6Ω MTL coil, 50/50 VG/PG E-liquids or higher-PG blends work best. Nic salts also work well with this coil, up to 20mg. For the 0.48Ω Plex3D mesh coil: high-VG e-liquids (60/40 or thicker). Stick to freebase nicotine at 6mg or lower with this coil.

How to Set Up the Innokin Zlide

1. Unscrew the tank base to ensure the pre-installed 0.48Ω mesh coil is screwed firmly into place.

2. Add 3–4 drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton openings on the side of the coil.

3. Reassemble the base securely and screw the tank onto your mod’s 510 connection.

4. Pull the removable mouthpiece straight up to disengage the child-proof lock mechanism.

5. Slide the top cap back to reveal the port, fill the 2ml tank, slide it shut, and reinsert it. Let the tank sit completely still so the dense cotton inside the Z-coil saturates fully.

6. Adjust your mod's power (e.g., 10–15W for the spare 1.6Ω coil), dial in the bottom airflow ring, and enjoy.

Compatibility
