Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank

Pirate Vapes carries the Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank for a reason. It is one of those tanks that does not try to reinvent anything. It just gets the basics right. 2ml capacity, GTi mesh coils, a 510 thread that screws onto whatever mod you already have, and a Turbo Airflow System that genuinely changes how smooth the draw feels compared to older sub-ohm tanks.

Fill it from the top, press a coil in, set your wattage. The whole thing is stainless steel and Pyrex, built to take daily use without looking rough after a month. Pirate Vapes ships it age-verified across the UK.

Why vapers choose this:

  • Turbo Airflow System with three bottom air inlets for smoother, quieter draws and more consistent flavour.

  • Press-fit coil installation. No threading, no cross-threading, no messing about.

  • Secure sliding top-fill design that keeps juice where it should be.

  • Self-circulating e-liquid system that recirculates condensation back toward the coil to reduce leakage at the base.

  • 510 connection that works with most sub-ohm mods without adapters or compatibility headaches.

Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank Features

Turbo Airflow System

Three separate air inlets sit around the base of the tank. Most sub-ohm tanks use one or two. Three spreads the draw more evenly across the mesh strip, and you notice it. Less turbulence, less of that rattly noise some tanks make at high wattage. Tighten the ring for a warmer, more restricted pull. Leave it wide open and you get a proper airy DTL hit. The difference between full open and half-closed is pretty dramatic on this tank.

GTi Mesh Coil Platform

Mesh coils heat faster and cover more surface area than traditional round wire. That is not news. What makes the GTi platform worth talking about is the press-fit system. You push the coil into the base and it seats itself. No screwing it in, no worrying about whether the threads have caught properly. Replacement GTi Coils come in packs of five from the Vape Coils collection at Pirate Vapes, so keeping spares around is easy.

Slide-Open Top Fill

Slide the top cap open, pour your juice in, slide it back. The silicone seal sits flush so nothing drips between refills. Wide enough for most bottle nozzles. Not much else to say about it, honestly. It works, it seals, it does not pop open in your pocket. That is what you want from a fill system.

Self-Circulating E-Liquid System

Condensation builds up in every sub-ohm tank. It pools at the base, creeps through the 510 pin, leaves your mod sticky. Vaporesso built a recirculation channel into the iTank that draws that condensation back toward the coil instead of letting it sit there. It does not eliminate condensation entirely, nothing does, but it keeps the base noticeably cleaner than most tanks in this price range.

Adjustable Bottom Airflow

The ring at the base has three slots you can open or close. Wide open is full DTL, big clouds, airy draw. Close it down and the vapour gets warmer, denser, more flavour-focused. There is enough range here that you can genuinely dial it in to how you like it rather than just picking between "open" and "slightly less open." Pair the tank with a High VG E-Liquid from our collection and you will get the most out of it.

Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank Colour Options

This is a refillable sub-ohm tank, so there are no flavour variants. You fill it yourself with whatever juice suits you, which honestly is one of the best things about owning a tank instead of a prefilled pod system.

Pirate Vapes currently stocks the iTank in two finishes:

  • Rainbow
  • Aurora Green

The iTank is manufactured in additional colours including Black, Grey, and Silver, among others. Stock at Pirate Vapes reflects current UK availability.

How to Set Up the Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank

  1. Unscrew the base of the tank and press-fit the GTi coil into place. It should seat firmly without any wobble.

  2. Drop a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton on the coil. This is priming, and skipping it is the fastest way to burn out a fresh coil.

  3. Screw the base back onto the tank body.

  4. Slide the top cap open and fill the tank with your chosen juice. Do not overfill past the max line.

  5. Close the top cap and let the tank sit upright for five to ten minutes. Seriously. The cotton needs time to saturate fully or you will taste it on your first draw.

  6. Screw the tank onto your 510 mod. Set your wattage to the lower end of the coil's recommended range.

  7. Take a few gentle draws first and gradually increase the wattage until you find where the flavour sits best for you.

What's in the Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank Box

One iTank (2ml, TPD-compliant), one GTi 0.2Ω mesh coil (rated 60 to 75W), one GTi 0.4Ω mesh coil (rated 50 to 60W), one spare glass tube, three replacement O-rings, and a user manual. That is per the manufacturer's listed box contents. No mod, no battery, no e-liquid included. You are getting the tank and coils only.

Built for Any 510 Mod

The iTank uses a standard 510 threaded connection, so it is compatible with most 510-thread vape mods. No proprietary fittings. If you already own a Vaporesso GEN 200, a GeekVape Aegis, a SMOK Morph, or pretty much any other sub-ohm capable mod, the iTank screws straight on.

On the coil side, the tank takes the full Vaporesso GTi Mesh range. The two in the box handle most preferences, but there is also a 0.15Ω option in the GTi lineup for higher wattage vaping at 75 to 90W. You can find replacement coils alongside the tank in the Vape Tanks selection at Pirate Vapes.

At 24.5mm diameter, the iTank sits flush on most modern mods without overhang. Worth noting though: this is a DTL tank through and through. If you want a tight, cigarette-style draw, you are better off with a pod kit or an MTL Tank.

About Vaporesso

Vaporesso launched in 2015 out of Shenzhen, China, backed by parent company Smoore. They have been around long enough now that most vapers have used at least one of their products, whether that is an XROS pod kit, a Target mod, or one of the GEN series setups. The company holds hundreds of patents and sells in over 60 countries. Where they have carved out their space is coil technology.

The GTi and earlier GT coil families have built a following among vapers who got tired of coils lasting three days on sweet juice. The iTank sits in the DTL end of their lineup, and it shows what the GTi platform can do when paired with decent airflow engineering.

Stock Up and Save

How long a GTi coil lasts depends on what juice you run and how high you push the wattage. Sweeter liquids will shorten that window, always do. Keeping a five-pack of replacement coils around means you are never stuck vaping burnt cotton while you wait on a delivery.

Pirate Vapes stocks only genuine Vaporesso Products, packed properly and dispatched with tracking across the UK. Every order goes through age-verified checkout, 18+ only, and all stock is TPD-compliant. Whether you are setting up for the first time or just restocking, everything you need is in one place.

Conclusion

The Vaporesso iTank Sub Ohm Tank does what a good DTL Tank should without overcomplicating things. Consistent flavour, solid clouds, easy fills, and coils that hold up well with regular use. The triple-inlet Turbo Airflow System and self-circulating condensation design deal with two of the biggest annoyances in sub-ohm tanks: uneven flavour and juice pooling at the base.

It fits any 510 mod, takes widely available GTi coils, and the press-fit installation means you spend less time fiddling with hardware and more time actually vaping. If you want a reliable sub-ohm tank at a reasonable price, the iTank earns its spot. Available now at Pirate Vapes with tracked, age-verified UK delivery.

FAQs

What wattage should I use with the Vaporesso iTank?

The 0.4Ω coil runs best between 50 and 60W. The 0.2Ω coil sits between 60 and 75W. Start at the lower end of whichever coil you are using and work your way up until the flavour feels right.

Can I use other coils in the iTank?

Only Vaporesso GTi coils. The older GT Mesh and GTX coils are different platforms and will not fit this tank.

Does the iTank leak?

When assembled properly, leaking is minimal. The self-circulating system helps keep the base dry. If you are getting leaks, check your O-rings and make sure the coil is fully seated.

What juice works best?

High VG e-liquids are recommended, ideally 70/30 or above. This is a sub-ohm tank built for DTL vaping. Thinner liquids may not perform as well in this setup.

Will the iTank fit my mod?

If your mod has a 510 connection and supports sub-ohm coils, it should work. The tank is 24.5mm at the base, which sits flush on most modern box mods.

How often should I change the coil?

It varies depending on your e-liquid and how much you vape. When flavour starts tasting flat or slightly off, that is your sign to swap in a fresh one.

Is the iTank the same as the iTank 2?

No. The iTank 2 is an updated version with improved leak resistance and a revised airflow design. Both use GTi coils, but they are separate products.

What is the difference between the 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω coil?

The 0.4Ω runs at lower wattage, gives a slightly cooler vape, and tends to be the better option for flavour. The 0.2Ω runs hotter, produces more cloud, and uses more juice and battery power.
